Thread: Pub 10 Tailor now makes Ubese Shirts and Bandoliers?

This is almost certainly not the best place to address this issue, but like a lot of other people the recent change to Ubese shirts and bandoliers really frustrates me. I've already spent many millions of credits on ARMOR attachments, but I hadn't yet placed some of them due to hopes of getting better attachments. Now the only conditionless article is the belts, and we all know the drawbacks of wearing belts. So, on a personal level, this change is really a pain in the arse.

But, to approach the issue more broadly, I think the advantages of a few conditionless articles of clothing/armor are abundantly apparent. The most valuable AAs are, by definition, very rare. I feel that the rate at which they drop/become available is grossly incompatible with the rate at which armor and clothing decay. Prior to Publish 10, it was only possible to equip two conditionless articles (3 if you were willing to wear a belt), which essentially ensures that it's all but impossible to cap at +25 on even one or two skill mods. For combat skill mods, there is no such thing as a lifetime investment, unlike (for example) experimentation SEAs for crafters.

Obviously clothing and armor needs to decay in order for there to be a market for armorsmiths and tailors, but I can't see the decay of Ubese shirts and bandoliers as being a very large threat to their viability.

Anyone know of a better place to express opinions on this issue?
