I actually differ from the rest of you - I like this armor. It seems very....wookieish.

And I could not agree more - wood will make an appearance.

Personally, I think it looks prett funny so far. Kinda like ScareCrow in Wizzard of OZ. However, I think this art would actually look much betterIN GAMEthan it does in this picture. If they mix it with a fair amount of wookie fur showing through, like it appears that they are, then itCOULD look pretty good. I just hope they give a descent color palate, cause if it is all one color like bone or composite legs, then not even the Wookies will like the look. All the wookies in the same stuff wouldblow. Lastly, I predict Wood, Bone, and Hides will be required. This picture doesn't give me alot of hope for a sweet looking armor though. Any other thoughts?

As it says in there its just the first approved art. It may end up just being the bone armor for wookies. We'll have to wait and see. Basically if the devs haven't got a set of stats and resource list, the stuff really hasn't been made yet, and is subject to a LOT of change.

I have to agree with you. That just looks dumb. It doesn't make any sense. What kind of armor would a wookie make? Wicker? C'mon! I think they should use more 'Planet of the Apes' type stuff. It looks cool with fur, and also looks functional.

dont forget that this is ment to be 'star warsy' the wookies are very hippy like people (tree hugging and stuff) . however if u judge from their clothing then i think there shouldbe something more classy looking than this.

i was thinking some kinda natural version of tanteal chest plate, bracers, and shin guards with knee caps on top, bone legging like thighs and a hood. wookies look good in hoods.

When wookie armor was first approved I had in my mind a picture of barf from Space Balls in that black "Space Ball" armor. Personally I think that would look a lot better than this.

you realize since the armor is "nature" based, the resources will probably be mostly hides and bones.

Ok so it isnt me, everyone thinks this armor looks silly.. My thought is...

Dev 1: The wookiees held a protest the other night demanding armor.. Man, it caused zone crashes and everything...

Dev 2: Yea that was a nightmare, we better do something about it, guess we'll have to put wookiee armor in the game now...

Dev 1: Yes we better they do need it after all... But Let's teach them a lesson about protesting.....

well guys i know exactly why the armor looks like so, the developers have been trying to figureout what to do with the surplus of unlocked containers well there it is, unlocked container now equals wookiee helmet
