Note the protections on the Bracers in comparison with the other two pieces. Bracers no vulnerabilities, Chest and Leggings four (4) vulnerabilities. What does this suggest?

One component requires Tailor Field Wear III to craft, now that's a situation to ponder:

It does say "padding segment", which should imply a new kind of segment. Probably requires strange resources as well

Nice to see that wookieearmor shifts stats by the way. Unless the stats are adjusted with a different "padding segment"?

So.....lets get some clarification on this Padding Segment.

Tailor made? Additional Armorsmith component? Looted (GOD NO) component? Do Wookies crap this?

Better start looking for Endorian Wood I guess...the Wookies are coming...

at least i can start collecting materials now..

and GREAT THE STUFF STAT SHIFTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well lets hope this will force them to get on the ball and adjust it so that the stat shifting problem will go away now...

The Padding Segment is a new Tailor item, as PadreBook stated.

I noticed now that the chestpiece on warcry has a different condition than the other pieces. Were other resources used, or is this to counter for the increased number of zones it protects? If the last is true, then they should think about revamping ubese jackets. Get some consistency throughout all armors.

Well, this does seem like it is going to be as easy to make as advanced padded. Lots and lots of organics of every flavour.

I absolutely refuse to make this armor, here and now. I realise that I'm not a Master Armorsmth and all that, but I think this is going to be a pain in the ass to make. You have to get a tailor to make the subcomponents.

"Big deal!" you say. "We've had to put up with tailor made subcomponents before, and we can do it again!"

But this is diffrent. Unless you are a tailor and make them yourself (which is impractical, as you won't be able to make the best stuff unless your master) you'll have to coordinate with another person. What recorces should be used?

You can provide your own, and just have them make a factory skematic, true, but what about the experemenation? Do you want all the points into Effectiveness? Half into Effectiveness and half into Duribility? What if you get a compleate failure?

It might just be me, but it seems like this might be too much work to be useful. That and the recorce requirements. I'll make it if a tailor offers to do it, but other than that I absolutely refuse.

Anyone on TC that confirm it's craftability (level) and what is required?

The TC update states it has been added...

Screenshots would be nice too...I know I'm jumping the gun as it was just added, but thought I would check in as word goes out...

When I get home I'll log onto Test, check it out and post my results here. Someone else is going to have to do screenshots, however, as I'm not versed in making and posting them.

Hah garvin, you're all over this freakin forum. As for a pic: http://swg.allakhazam.com shows at least the model view (granted it'll look slightly different on an actual wookie).

I'm curious if the schematic is automatically added to armorsmith's or is it a quest schematic. It looked like a normal one but I don't want to assume. (no I'm not an armorsmith, just someone who enjoys the game

Just a side note, Tailors do not get ANY experemenation. They pulled it about about 4 patches ago. With that, tailored subcomponents are not an issue. As for them making you use parts from other classes, they will always do that as itencourges interaction, there is no class that does not need somthing from others.

Go check out the Tailor forum. For this ONE subcomponent, they've added experimentation back in.
