I was a little wary at first when they initially showcased this stuff, but now that I see it, it looks pretty cool.

I'm anxioux to find out too! I have a couple wookiee friends that would really like some armor and I'd like to be prepared for them!

Hah garvin, you're all over this freakin forum.
Yah...I tend to get around...lol...to much free time at work I guess...My Alt is a Wookiee Crafter...
As for a pic: http://swg.allakhazam.com shows at least the model view (granted it'll look slightly different on an actual wookie).
Saw that one...was hoping to see an ingame image of a Wookiee actually wearing the Armor...the actual finished product...as well as the stats (HAM and defenses)...And the link above (http://swg.warcry.com/#16910) has all of that...thanks...
I'm curious if the schematic is automatically added to armorsmith's or is it a quest schematic. It looked like a normal one but I don't want to assume. (no I'm not an armorsmith, just someone who enjoys the game
That what I am most interested in...is it going to be a looted/purchased limitedschematic or something added to the list of AS Schematics...and if so, what level is need to craft it...
It's nice to see that the Wookiee armor has sockets...I figured it would, but that's a whole new market that opens up to Wookiees (Armor Attachments...before they could only use Clothing Attachments as far as I know)...

The schematics seem to be granted at Personal Armor 1.
There's captures of the schematics at: swg.warcry.com
It looks (from the pictures in the schematics) like the helmet is part of the chest plate.

I'm also curious as to what all wookie clothing can be worn over/under the armor. I still wanna be able to have my +25 injury/wound treatment clothes...heh

We need to harvest EndorianWood to make the segment and regular wood for the armor - ick. We have enough resources to gather.

Will it take faamba and rancor padded armor enhancers? Any tips on their use aside from high effectivness/low HAM being desirable?
I hope so, heh.

from the swg.warcry.com pics...
It looks like the priliminary ingrediants are:
Wood
Leathery Hide
Wooly Hide
Copper
Polymer
Synth Cloth
Fiberplast Panels
add Yavin Leathery Hide, and Endorian Deciduous Wood for the adv version (generic leather and wood are still used in the final assembly).
there appears to be another required sub component called "padding segment" (not padded armor segment). It's not clear what the ingreds are for this and/or if this is a tailor or armor item.
