Good points hop. Perhaps the developers would be kind enough to give wookiee armorsmiths a couple of extra experimentation points to play with when making this wookiee armor. That way all the other armorsmiths would be able to makegreat wookiee armor, however a wookiee armorsmith would be able to make some exceptional wookiee armor. Just a thought.

the call for wookie only craftable armor is being made by a few greedy wookie armorsmiths, with nobodys welfare in mind save for themselves. I could give a handfull of good reasons why it shouldn't be wookie only craftable, and the most obvious one why it should is so the few wookie armorsmiths can make a huge profit by gouging the market.

yeah jeez. wanting wookiee armor to be makable by wookiees only has to be about the greediest thing ever. Talk about screwing over your whole race just so you can gouge to your hearts content without any competition.
If I were a wookiee fighter I'd vote to kick you out of the race.

I want the schematics to be available to all armorsmiths. But the motivator for your argument (and mine) is also to make money. It's not like I, a trandoshan, will be able to wear wookie armor... I don't see this as a viable reason to argue for or against it. If wookie AS want a niche market, that's fine.. But I want the armor because I want more diversity in the profession as well as access to the wookie market that is, as yet, untapped.

Lets see:
Bowcaster = Wookiee only schematic, yes you needWS components to make it and WS skills to make a good one but you can make one with out being a WS
WS = All other schematics minus the Bowcaster
I guess the reason I can't afford to buy +20 in tapes is b/c I don't have the same mind set as most other AS's. My state ment wasn't about greed, it wasn't about anything except keeping the wookiee unique. What the hell I am sure you guys make enough money off composite and other forms of armor. I am a MAS and I run 18 fusions. Lately I have rarely had more then 500k in my bank. And I would say I move a fair amount of armor. Well maybe I don't have my armor priced high enough, but I am making profit on it so that is what matters. But the point being is dammit you guys are turning this into a money issue and its not what I was trying to do. If i wanted to make a large profit with little cost I could focus on being a PSG smith only and sell those all day long for 10k a pop. (as they do sell out pretty damn fast) But crafting only PSG's would get pretty boring. I like filling special requests, someone coming up to me I'm tired of freakin rifleman, You have anything to fix that for me. It's not about the money with me its about the actual armor. I guess you can call me crazy, but since i have all my lots tied up with fusions I only run 4 factories. Heck if i placed 9 more it still probably wouldn't be enough. but any way the point being is 90% of all armor that I sell was hand crafted. So for all you wankers out there saying My statement was about the money I got a nice piece of pointy and rusty composite you can stick up your A$$. Peace

For me, it's not about the money. I'm bored to tears making composite armor and ubese armor. Everyone here has been shouting for some kind of different armor. This would be a great thing for all armorsmiths who are tired of making the same stuff. In the words of Mr. Spock..."The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few".

A little INSIGHT for the ignoramites who insulted my dear homeboy Brutas the Wookiee Master Armorsmith.
If we're sticking close to the StarWars theme, then the fact would be Wookiee craft for their own, and are the independent race of crafters who gather everything they need and go to work on it. Proving we're smarter than the Zabrak race who relies on humanity for their technological advancements.
It would be inconvienient for ONLY wookiee to craft the wookiee armor, but there should be like a wookiee armorsmith experimentation bonus on this 1 set of armor.
And whoever said there arent a lot of Wookiee in the galaxies? We're way more abundant than Rodian, Twi'lek Males, all Mon Calimari, and female Trandos. So we're definately not a minority on here.
The 2 larges servers ECLIPSE and BRIA both have Wookiee Player Associations consisting of over 50 wookiee in each group!
So once we get the armor (some have waited nearly a year) We'll gain the reputation of a wookiee!

My statement about wookiee only armor schematics was not from the stand point of greed, it was more less to make things interesting. Intead of going to the same ole AS's it would actually increase business to the wookiee as's yes i am surethe demand would be a bit to deal with at first. Heck I am already taking orders and people offering me even more money to get to the top of the list for the armor and we have no clue what it is going to be like. I still stand by that by making the schematic wookiee only, it would prevent the rich from getting richer one and two make things a little more interesting, I mean come one the same AS's are going to be selling wookiee armor at extortian prices b/c they can, b/c they already have the money and resources. I don't know too many wookiee as's that are on the top 5 list of any server so why not make things interesting

If you like wookie to be the only ones that can make wookie armor . then maybe they shouldn't be abel to make composite. only fair i think.

Onething that amazes me is why people thought that a wookieee cannot be armorsmith.
I'm wookiee. I created my wookiee just to be armorsmith. And I always knew he cannot wear an armor (I was wookiee in the beta).
If people is so unwise to choose another race to make armors only to test 'em on themselves, don't blame the devs for release an armor schematic exclusive for wookiee armorsmiths.
BTW, my armors are high % with low ham and I never wear any of them

The point was Wookie armorsmiths are rare, not Wookiees in general. Please scroll up if you mis-read.
