wookiee only armor should be wookiee only schematic just like the bowcaster

I hope not. Hardly anyone plays a wookiee right now. And what person would play a wookiee armoursmith before - you can't even use what you make. It would be the ultimate in pain!

I think they should make it a wookie only item. If your server doesn't have wookie armorsmiths the schematic will drive people to become one in no time.

I'm sorry to disagree with you guys, but that's the dumbest think I've heard in a while. Next think you guys will whine about is, Twi'lek Tailors should be the only ones making Lekku Wraps. ROFL!!
Seriously, why on earth would you want Wookie Armorsmiths be the only one's to make Wookie only armor?? Do you realize that Wookie Armorsmiths are very, very rare? Your price for that armor will be SKY-HIGH because the supply will be virtually non-existant and the demand for it will be outrageous because every Wookie is going to spend their hard earned credits on something worthwhile that will help them a great deal in combat. The more people that are qualified to make it, the better the prices will be due to competition between Armorsmiths. Please don't be so short-sighted next time good news comes your way...

well bowcasters are a wookiee only schematic so why can't the wookiee armor??? It's not that I am short sighted I would just like to see that this be a specialty item. This is in no way the same as twi'lek tailors being the only ones to make lekku wraps. Wookiees make there own blasters why can't they be the ones to make their own armor

Bowcasters are wookie craftable items, but they still require parts which can only be made by a weaponsmith. If they are going to make it a wookie craftable item, they would have to make it require parts that can only be made by armorsmiths. Honestly though, we have all complained about the lack of armor diversity in the game. Here is the chance to add a set of new armor that all armorsmiths should be able to enjoy.

I see your point. However, if you limit it to Wookie Armorsmiths, only they will benefit from this patch.
How many Wookie armosmiths are on your server, including yourself? My guess would be 5 or less, maybe as high as 20. How many Armorsmiths do you think your server has? 50? 75+ maybe? Do you think of those "rare" Wookie Armorsmith's you'll be able to keep up with the demand from the entire Wookie population of your server? Doubtful. Therefore, you will have to raise your price to offset overwhelming demand for an item that only 5 Wookie armorsmiths will be able to produce.
You will benefit and make a huge profit by inadvertantly overcharging your customers because you will not be able to keep up. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Wookie armor selling for as much as Composite. Not to mention, they'll have to wait WEEKS for their armor and those that have excess credits, will pay MORE to be the 1st on the server to have it, only hurting the casual player who doens't have as much money to blow on stuff like this. They will suffer and wait while you drive prices up.
On the flipside, if qualified Armorsmiths, regardless of race, were given the ability to make the Wookie armor, prices would stay reasonable and affordable to all Wookies because we all could take on the enormous demand for this new product.
Again, think big picture here. Why would ANY wookie want to have thier race specific armor made by only by Wookie Armorsmiths? As a consumer, competition LOWERS prices, period. If these Wookie consumers had your mentality and wanted this, I guess money comes too easy for them and they want to make sure to spend it on their Wookie brethren.
Quit being so selfish. I'm done with this, I've made my point.

I really hope that this become a general Armoursmith schematic and not one for only Wookie Armoursmiths as I haven't seen any of those on my server (Starsider)
