Thread: Armor attachment
Belts are clothing, made by tailors. You need ribbon/cloth skill-enhancers for belts. An armor attachment goes on.... well, armor.
So hang onto it until you know for sure what you will be doing with it.
no.. works like clothing - just drop 'em on and you're good
...gotta check with the belt though - haven't made one since the sockets came out on armor.
There are armor belts and armor backpacks... sort of. The padded armor has a belt that has armor sockets, and ubese has a bandolier that is worn in the same position as a backpack, however it can't hold items, just attachments. The belt sounds like an interesting idea. I am not sure if you can wear one while wearing composite or ubese, which might be something to investigate before you go off drop the attachment on a padded belt. Also, belts will get hit if you wear them, any location that has armor on it is a target for your opponent to hit, so your idea of avoiding decay through use probably doesnt apply well. Your best bet is to get a piece of composite, like boots or gloves lets say, that has a very high "condition", that is to say that the armorsmith experimented up the condition value. This will give you the longest life out of the armor since composite has the highest condition, exceptmaybe RIS armor.

yes they are droped in... one problem... ive been told on double mod atachments only the larger will actualy take to the item... so yours are the same. hopefully its the first one then for your sake
This is incorrect. If you drop 2 skill attachments of the same skill mod into the item, only the higher one will count.
You can drop the lower one into a different item, and it will add to your base mods.
