As someone who has dancer strictly to buff guild members I see no reason to keep Master Dancer.

Update:

As novice ent. I just did a buff for 3 hours... so there is absolutely no difference between having master or novice ent.

Not only do people sign up for professions because they love them, some also sign up for them to help out guild members. To work as a group with our guild in achieving different goals. I have been a Master Dancer on Shadowfire and on Bloodfin and I do love the profession, and have played it for myself as well as others. However, on Shadowfire I have it to assist my guildmates in combat. If a Novice Ent. can give as good of a buff as a Master then there is no reason to keep Master Dancer on that paticular server. On Bloodfin, that is another story. Do not assume that I "am not here to dance" simply because I have issues with the system.

If you are here to dance, then why consider dropping something that you enjoy doing down to the novice level skill?

I play two servers. On one server it's for me. On Shadowfire it's for my guild. If I can do the same buffs at Novice Ent. (when on this paticular server I have this prof. to help my guild) why would I keep Master?

On Bloodfin yes, I will play the prof. and enjoy all the different dances and such, but on SF why would I keep Master when I can use skill points for other things I enjoy also?

Absolutely no reason to and I don't think anyone would argue that with you. If you don't want to play a dancer on that character, then simply drop it and apply the skillpoints to a profession you want to play.

lol, you misunderstand me. I will keep dancer (of some sort) to help my guild members on that character. I don't see how it is fair to Master Dancers to let Novice Ent's buff the same.

To quote Tiggs' post in a daily test thread(since deleted..as they always are at the end of the day), dated 4/07/05, "The inspiration buffs are a small part of a bigger picture that is not ready to be revealed."

I wish I could tell people more right now but I can't. Why is it not delivered yet? Because the whole package is not ready. And frankly, I'd prefer to have stuff that is coded on our dev time and not tossed together quickly just to meet a deadline for other professions. They will be rebuilding us and it is my plan to make sure it is done well.

But..if someone has taken their character up dancer only to provide mind buffs, they might want to consider a BE/Doc combination, since that skill and the means of providing it is now in their court.

You can give the same buff at Novice Ent and your guild will not need this buff all the time like they did Mind Buffs. A non-crafting, faction capped, finished template toonhas no need for these buffs. Just some mild need for BF healing which again, can be done by a Novice Ent just as well, just slower.

Really, the only people who are going to care about having more than novice Ent are going to be the people who want the songs/dances, care about performance, and are alwaysresponsive when interacting with patrons. I can't think of one single reason why anyone would need to keep Ent at all if they had just been doing it on an AFK alt.

If they are going to keep some Ent, there is certainly no need for anything but Novice Ent... unless you just love spending your money on something stupid that no one really needs, lol. Like Eshie said above, we're never going to have anything worth botting ever again.

When it was double xp week, you could trade in your xp for double FS XP (which was really nice).

Anyone know/confirm that if you're under the influence of an inspiration buff for that 10% xp bonus, you get a 10% bonus to FS xp when you trade it in? Doubtful but just wanna see.

What do I need to be in musician to be able to give an armorsmith buff?

Novice musician.

The higher level will give a longer maximum duration, but will not affect the buff attributes.

Is this a specific buff that the musician has to choose manually? Or is this the same as the normal inspiration buff you get from listening watching?

All profession-specific inspirations must be chosen manually, including armoursmith.
