I tried the search option and it didn't help me any. That's always the first thing I check. I'll talk to Poti then. Thanks.

The schematic is aquired from the Imperial Outpost on dantooine. Go inside the building with the Imperial terminal and recruiter outside the door. Inside is a man in a lab coat, and he is conducting research on the destruction of the death star. Take his quests and the final reward will be the Imperial prototype shield generator schematic. Some combat is required for this mission, but most enemies are very low level 15-25. You may have to be Imperial to do this quest, but this is not for sure. The schematic is limited use, and a factory schematic can be made from each use. This item can not be aquired in completed form except from an armorsmith who has this schematic.Hope this helps.
As a side note, while you are at the Imp Outpost, you can also go into the building next door and talk to a "Commander Lytus" for more quests. The reward for these quests is the Lytus artifact and it has a really cool blue glow to it. THis entire quest can be done while you are off duty, and it will require no combat at all. If you do it while on duty, you will have to fight. Keep in mind you can only talk to Commander Lytus if you are on duty, so get a mission from him, go off duty, finish the mission, then go back on duty before you talk to him again. You must be an Imperial to do this mission.
