Thread: Post CU RIS- Your stats?
Sure layersdon't add hinderance. So what is the hinderance for some of these 'uber' sets of battle armor?
6252 Energy
6252 Kinetic
5172 Rest
cant remember condition
sure I can get better.

The impact of the acutally hinderance is based on your certs. Can someone please post what hinderances they are getting for 6500ish battle armor? Also - Scoutloch - you are incorrect. If you have Master Rifleman you can never improve your reduction of hinderances in recon armor - because the hinderance mitigations DO NOT STACK.
Dude there are no armor hinderences any more. Just like the other guy said, it is totally based on your template now. If you have novice combat medic your gonna be hindered a lot, at master doc not so much, and at master doc master combat medic, barely anything. Also wearing armor with 1500 protection and wearing armor with 7000 protection will give you the same hinderences. Hope that finally clairifies things.
Im making 3 different types at the moment.
My Primus is 6534 kin/6534 energy/5465 base.
My energy is 6996 energy
My regular is 5950 to all.
My conditions range from 95.5k to 98.6k
If I remeber correctly I can make 7120 kinetic or 7135 energy at the moment. 6k across for unlayered.
40/40/40 for battle armor that is not sliced. This will be mitigated completely by any profession with full battle armor qualifications. Increasing the protection by adding layeres will not increase the hinderance from 40/40/40 to something else. It will always be 40/40/40.

The other misconception is hinderances aren't built into the armor.
Hinderances are a function of the protectiongiven bythe armor. For example 6k-6k-6k battle armor is 40% 40% 40% on hinderances, while 1k-1k-1k battle armor has much lower base hinderances.
So anyone know what the hinderances on 6500 armor are? and does anyone think a 5% speed reduction is worth it? Does it really work out to 5m lost for every 100m traveled? or are hinderances completely broken ? (I don't see a change in the rate of attackwhen I have a 40% attack speed reduction from armor when I examine my weapon - but does it actually do anything??)
(For example a melee toon in 6500 armor will never be able to keep up with a ranged character in 7500/5500 assault armor?)
