On the "In Testing" page I read this

Grouping

  • Added a new way to calculate group experience point (XP) bonuses. Experience Points (XP) are now divided by the total number of people in your group with an additional bonus for being grouped with other players. We will be testing out the group experience and currently group XP is set lower then we expect it to be set at.

I'm still trying to figure out what it means. Does it mean that xp is currently (In Live) set lower or did they already tweak it on TC and need to raise it?

or start solo grinding again like Jedi should have to do in the first place. Now just bring back saber tef and we will be alot closer to where we need to be.

I agree this is absurd. A 4th level box already takes twice as long to grind as a regular profession ( due to getting 1-1.3k per kill as opposed to the6-7k) and now they're making it take 10 times longer??

Normal professions will be nerf'd by the same rate. And it's 100ish xp now on TC, but they said that it was lower on TC than what they would put on live. It might be half xp instead of 1/10th. And you gotta admit, grinding out Jedi in a few weeks is just lame.

AFK'ers aside you still need to put in alot of work for a quick grind..... AFK'ers cheapen what we achieve anything that hurts them... im all for... I just hope I get my template sorted in time :S

This is going suck for casual gamers that already have to spend monthes to get any where near a full temp. Power gamers won't be hurt as bad I suppose.

I do agree, it is not right for people to grind Jedi just in about 12 days or so, however people that do this practically just do it straight and most people(that I know at least) don't have near enough time in their lives to set aside that amount of time just to do this. I'm lucky if I can get half a box a day.

They're just making you do it like us pre-Cu grinders had to

The difference? Pre CU, Jedi were still good. Right now, Docs/CMs out heal us. Riflemen out damage us, etc etc. I don't think the grind should take many monthes just to be weaker than that of a normal temp. While a few weeks isn't that long of a grind, considering the state of the profession, it's about fitting.

Last I checked, I hadn't been beaten by a solo normal in a long time.... unless you count the one BH who startle-shotted me to death pre patch 20.

You can't even compare Pre-CU to Post-CU Jedi as the profession is totally different. You are trying to compare apples and oranges.

I know a few TKM/Docs on Bria who beat full temp Jedi about 95% of the time. I didn't say Jedi are totally nerf'd but the state we are in doesn't make it worth the amount of time it would take to grind at 100 xp per.
