Thread: Respec?

I... have... to... agree...
Typing /respec as soon as you log in instead of waiting for the little box that pops up is what did it to these people.
The warning should have been displayed when the actual respec/skillbox screen popped up, not before entering it. Shoot, maybe even an e-mail would've been nice.
But let me point out one thing to you.
A dev forgot to make a simple check as to whether or not your inventory was full at the time of receiving your clone armor.
Doing this cost SOE a LOT of money in customer service time and caused a lot of grief for their customers.
I mean yeah, it is NOT easy coding a game of this size and takes great skill. But it's those little things that really matter.
But still. There is no excuse to not have had a general idea as to when your respec was going to end. You knew it was coming.

They never lied to you.
They told you PRECISELY when respec would end.
I'm no lover of the devs, trust me. I have been banned, oh, about 5 times for blasting them with both barrels, then setting them on fire.
Its noone's fault but the people that cant tell time, or read. Or add.

I have seen SCREENSHOTS of the final respec warning.
You typed /respec instead of waiting for the window to appear asking if you wanted to respec. THAT IS THE PROBLEM.
The devs shouldn't have even CODED the final warning message into the game.
But I could just see it now.
"OMFG I DIDN'T GET A FINAL WARNING W-T-F W-T-F W-T-F!?!?!"

I am a jedi knight. I have been for some time... i had my template pre determined it was all set i was 0404 saber master defender healer 4000 enhancer 3204 then the fix to sabers came. the one that added in action cost... with that happeneing all the old 96 efficency sabers transformed into 100 efficency... i had to make a new saber!
but, alas... not enough lightsaber experament for another 96 efficency.. so i respecd to master saber master def healer 2000 enahncer 0003 and made a new 96 efficency saber. i did it! yay another 96 efficency saber way to go me.... i had 1 more day of respec to go so i could go back to my wonderful template from before right?
WRONG.... pub 17 hits and it takes them about 28 hours to hash it all out... I think sweet surely i still have my last respec... i log in and guess what......... poof no respec...
Needless to say I am very pissed off...
Why should i be made to suffer from their mistake and neglagence?
These issues should be the ones that get fixed. Those that were already knights well before all this respec stuff should regain their knight status.
well i find this pointless to discuss. do u think DEVs will read every post? probably not. i was choked at first...then sad..then pissed...then VERY pissed...and now im just sad again. and its killing me.
i really wanted to get a knight, this was why i bought this game. i think on my eager to roleplay as a guardian of the peace and justice has overcomed me and i oversteped, and i was so close...i got jumpy..i was all over bria with my glowstick, just waiting for FRS to go live again to make a glorious entrance on the jedi enclave. take many pictures, make em desktop wallpapers. duel all day just for fun...maybe open a jedi academy guild.
sorry if i was rude at sometime, but i was alredy sad becuz epIII was the last of SW saga 
but at least i would still have my 500 days account jedi to play with. see why im so frustrated?
well ill just sit on my tatami floor now, drink sum green tea and wait for the final, reaaally final word on this.
if things go bad for me, ill accept and move on. but i will still b very sad and dissapointed.
