Thread: My goodness... what happened to my profession?!?!
Well I dusted off the Artisan account and remembered I had 1 box in Armorsmith so I figured I see what I can make. Absolutly nothing worth any xp. Need Identical Cores to make a piece of Armor which require a factory not worth the time. Oh did mention I need to be 0200 tailor to make anything. Before the CU I made cheap newbie Armor to support me while I grinded away yes I didn't grind all that much this character is more of I'm bored with combat character. Now the Newbie market is gone. How is it a New Armorsmith is suppose to one support themselves and2 make any xp in a decent amount of time. This is nuts there is no way anyone who isn't already a master or who can respec into master can actually get to master the grind way. 36xp for a armor segment. I don't get xp for making things in a factory. Who is going to buy armor from a newb Armorsmith so there is no market for the armor so it in effect goes to waste. This needs to change or there won't be any new armorsmiths.

Surely you've got to be kidding. Armouring is now so simple it's insulting. It's Fisher-Price crafting - no thought, no complication, just clicking for no reason. You don't have anything to balance, any thought on design, you just spend points in a bar and hit the cap. Reaching the hard caps is so simple I don't even use my best resources, yet stillmake armour that cannot be improved. How does a craft that is nothing but mindless busywork where everyone makes the same separate the cream?

but to the thread, the only thing challenging is getting resources, and that is only because they got changed. In another month or two, we will all have 500k of each named resource and we will be back where we started preCU
