Thread: Is there any point to go beyond +20 on experimentation?

Well, the extra two points can help recover from a crit fail. I was assmebling a core with segments that had health enhancers in then, and this core was supposed to be the one that I turned into a factory schem so that I could run off three more identical cores for a chest piece. I got a crit fail while experimenting on the chest, however the two extra points allowed me to recover enough to still get the core up to a point where it would cap the armor. If I hadn't had those two extra points, I would have had to trash the core, and then I wouldn't have had enough identical health enhanced segments left to do a run large enough for a chest piece.
