After a little more research it turns out that publish 24 was intended to stop solo'ing of things 7 levels or more higher than you. GDK's are lvl 81 so they're intended to be a difficult solo.

The Gorax on the other hand is lvl 88, so its intended as basically non-soloable.

In otherwords, GDK's got a tiny bit more difficult, but aren't intended to be group kills now.

I went down there last night to help a guy get the badge, pffft pre-24 he was CL 84 dual gold sheveron and was able to solo him easy with Ra'sh

last night, CL 88 dual gold (only 4 CL higher) with master def , improved aura AND synsteak he was hitting me for 707 a hit, 598 with stun on him a SECOND!!

wow, I went down fast, once I hit AI he went from 1/2 helth to full in about 15 seconds and thats with me hitting on him still.

A sad day for me indeed

Yeah dont even think about using AI anymore in PVE. Well unless you are trying to get away. But no good for tanking anymore. Every mob I have faced I tested it and so far it makes all of them regen back to full (Retreat) Oh well. No biggie. Was never intended for what people ended up using it for.

Rifleman can still solo the GDK using cover and conceal, But the drop rate is the pits, Ive killed 30 GDK post 24 and had one lot of 10x10health scales and one lot of assault cores . Im trying to get enough scales to build 3 suits, one for me one for my wife, and one as a thankyou for my armour smith , at this rate its gonna be a LONG time till I get the RIS.

They should take longer to kill like earlier post stated, new people shouldnt already have a full set of ris unless they have a rich friend!
