Thread: how much did you spend on new resources to be CU ready?

Mostly just harvesters and about 2 mil in hide. Thats it for me. Then again that only left me with 1 mil anyway since I've a long way to go before I become wealthy by Bria's standards. But I havent bothered to buy any non organics.

I've spent either nothing or millions. Depends on if I want to blow a resource deed on some material I need. Being a maker of Wookiee armor, I already had good organics, and the rest will fall into place as I need it to. I am in no hurry to make armor, plenty of Weaponsmith to do as well.
Of course I can't leave my tent without a stiff breeze from incap'ing me.

700k on perovskitic aluminum before I realized, hey, I'm not going to bother with layers anyway, at least to begin with. I've got everything I need for good unlayered segments and cores (except dath fiberplast) so I'll be content with that.

I haven't spent anything but the money maint. onthe harvestors that have been mining the spawns. I only run a small operation though, sothat will most likely be enough.
I also have a scout alt. I don't have everthing I need, but since I'm likely only going to craft for my guild I will probably whip them 'til they fetch me the rest.

Now't so far, going to see what it's like first before decided whether to carry on. 50/50 atm, depends on a lot of things.... but won't be able to afford by buy decent historical stuff for a long while yet, so unlikely to be competitive for a long time (unless they change the resource requirements)
Oh well....

I got guildies on (or was on) for random hide hunts.
once the server comes back up am dropping harvies.
I WAS going to rat off some comp, wook, and ith armor, but they seemed to have bumped up the start date.

I check my 15 mil t of resources and find out I have almost all to make best possible battle armor. I also have 8 resource deeds. I'm just going to make some armor for my guild, and then I see if I want to be AS after CU. Anyway, I'm not going to make tons of different armor for sale, I bettergring my jedi.

After seeing the exact resource requirements: maybe 3-4M, though I still have no Gravitonic Fiberplast or Nabooian Bristley.
For general CURB preparation: 15M+ I took some gambles that certain resources would be needed and desired under the new system. I won some (Lokian Leathery Hide, Mytrha Copper), and I lost some (Cubirian Steel, some Wookiee armor stuff).
I'll probably try to bribe some 30K resource doohickeys from guildmates and other passers-by, too.

haven't spent anything for the new resources yet. unfortunately, in the 2 months before finding out just how bad we're getting screwed, our server had the 2 best spawns of wooly hide ever to show up. bought over a million units of the first to spawn, at 85 cpu. about a month later, the 2nd spawned, and it was better than the previous, so i bought over another million units of that at 70 cpu. so all in all, i've spent about 200 million on wooly hide that looks like it will be pretty much worthless in 2 days, seeing as neither one is of the dantooine variety.
our guild has managed to collect somewhere in the neighborhood of 75 resource deeds to help out our crafters once this does hit, but at 100 cpu per deed, we're going to have to up the prices of our goods to keep pace with that.

7mil plus 3 premium pearls and im not even close to ready. Not prepared to trust them not to make last minute changes
