Thread: how much did you spend on new resources to be CU ready?

Just curious, I ended up dropping about 3 mill on new resources so I can make or or two full runs of advanced battle and recon, no assault resources tho (nobody seemed to want to go to dathomir to get fiberplast for some reason)
'course haven't bought any new organics yet, luckily I have an alt for that, save me some money that way.

I spent a couple mil. Not trying to hard to gather everything because I'm still holding out that not all the named resources will be there.
Got lucky on a couple spawns. Ended up have some server best on a couple layer resources.

MY wife who is the MAS in the Family hasn't spent anything yet... she still hasnt deceided if it ill be worth the trouble or not, she is thinking about becoming a ranger instead of a MAS, Master Architect, Master Artisan, Tailor, Merchant. She is making the change, because in her opinion SOE doesnt want her to craft anymore. She want to give the CU a week befor making the decision.

I haven't spent much, mostly bought some stacks of hides.. I keep hoping they'll change the named reqs to something we've already collected, but that's probably in vain. At least it looks like I don't have to gather any layer resources since they seem so useless...

I used up every bit of stuff I had, made everything I could and sold everything I made. It was kind of sad, those last few clicks while I made that last batch of Tantel, knowing that it was going to be the last time. Oh well.

I spent about 10 million credits. I also spent a lot of time placing harvestors and on collecting some good scaley hides.

ill see what my current armor converts at before i even think of searching for resources for the new stuff.
I also didnt want to be screwed if they changed the resource requirements (again)

I spent the same on resources but have stocked up on vet resource rewards for the organics hehe

In some ways I've been fortunate. I always collected all armor resources if they were great, not just composite resources. So our server best bristley happens to be Naboo and I have a stack, although it's woefully small now looking at the new quantities required.
I had also planned to make a WS someday after getting FS crafting master, so I collected good weapon resources like mythra copper and alantium ore.
Knowing the resources would probably change for CU I also mined a fair number of resources with OQ 900+ and where SR was reasonably close to cap for that resource.
Unfortunately for me, the requirements as last seen on TC still managed to find a lot of holes in my inventory, so I ended up paying 10-20 million to fill the holes. Equally unfortunate was how many of those newly purchased resources were for layer requirements
I also spent about 40 million on resource deeds, which still won't be enough considering resource requirements.
The most frustrating for me though, was seeing how many of the top DR/OQ/SR resources for final assembly were ones I sold off cheap a while ago because they were superceded by a better OQ+SR or even MA+OQ spawn. Oh well
