Thanks for the many replies.
From what I understand, I have 2 tasks to do to get a really good armor:
a) Find and talk to an armorsmith in person, asking him to build the armor I like.
b) Find nightsisters... where they now are...
Best Regards

It's great that I can sell the high effectiveness sliced ones at a higher price but the encumbrance sliced ones just sits and rots on my vendor because no one really wants to buy 68% armor even if it's low HAM.
I'm on Farstar, but the first thing I look when I wanna buy armor is ham cost.
If I buy pre-sliced, it is always HAM-slice.
70% is good enough for me.
More than 500 HAM cost is not.
In fact, if I have to choose between 80% kinetic 70% base compo and 74% kinetic ubese, I'll always buy ubese, and 3 or 4 set if they are ham sliced.

Kines, My armor has 67% base and no one seem to care. Selling them faster than I can make them. Btw mine is called Death Watch Defender armor. And Gavvot I make all kinds of armor.
My favorite in Ultralight kinetics. I just loaded my vendor with 10 sets with HAM in the mid 300's and a couple of set has HAM below 300. Too bad you're not on Shadowfire eh?

You know... if smugglers could choose the slice - eff or enc - we wouldn't be having this discussion. 80% kinetic would go from 3/4ths of all composite made to less than a quarter, I'm sure. It would make armorcrafting that much more rewarding as well;it's not especially compelling to make composite with a particular set of resists if you know that at least half of it is going to come out basically unsellable. I know this issue has been brought up many times before, and I do hope they implement something like that come the smuggler revamp (but it's still so far away..!). I'm sure it'd make slicers feel a little more useful as well, knowing that they're not totally at the whim of the (oddly streaky) swg random number generator..
