do they lose the ls resist while they are in the crate and you log?

no only AFTER they are taken out.
Also after taking them out, you may need to unequipt them and then reequipping them after shuttling or crossing server bounderies or you can find them not offering any protection agains LS.

lol i am a MBH and have fought many jedi on my tkm alt but what do they gain from fighting someone who has an instant "i win". i mean i fight jedi and they have a hard enough time fighting me but with LS PSG on top of it. it is ridiculuos how i cannot be harmed. as a MBH i may not be able to take the higher bounties but i have alot more PPL stay and fight till the end.

Buy a crate of LS resist PSGs. Don't pull one from the crate until you're ready to use it.
If you choose to put an ADK on it, which I assume you are planning to, then put one on it after you pull it from the crate. This should prevent the stats from shifting while you travel.
However, nothing prevents the PSG from losing it's LS resist when you log. So if you use one, make sure you use it to its full potential.

A PSG is hardly an "I win" button. I've used them before, but they don't offer the godly protection that jedi seem to think they do. In all honesty, I doubt very many Jedi have even fought a BH with a PSG. They're just too much trouble. The jedi like to claim they're godly, but really...
All it takes is a KD / dizzy. Any jedi can do it. If the BH has thak, just use saber slash to make him kneel.
I swear, Jedi just complain that we BH's have an "I win" button...but just get us on our backs and guess what:
We can't heal ourselves.
