Pistoleers specialize in the health pool, buddy-Um yeah, Buddy, everyone knows that this is one of the reasons why we are so weak. The Health pool is the least worried about pool of them all.Health - Healed easily by stims, not used much at all w/ specials.Action - Healed by stims, greatly used w/ many specials (depletes fast).Mind - Only healed by good Combat Medics (basically can't be healed), used a lot w/ Rifle specials. We need a better pool-specific attack.
Uh... Yea. But if we have awesome specials that do a ton of damage specifically to the health, that depletes it quickly, making them use stims, depleting their mind, which in return makes them buff their mind, therefor health is left vulnerable due to depleteing of mind.

Good point, but we don't have awesome specials that do a ton of damage specifically to the health. That's the thing that sucks is that our best pool-specific attack only does about 700-800 dmg in PvE (give or take for the average Pistoleer, not someone with an amazing ub3r krayt FWG5 w/ 70-380 dmg w/o powerup).

heh, sometimes i wonder if im playing a diffrent game then some off the comments posted. Pistols target randomly with exception of bodyshot and maybe more of a chance to heath ham..... what we need is to be able to target a specific ham (heath?) let that be our specialty but fix our specials to be more powerful..

my fan shots and stopping shot do about 2-4k damage in PVE and about 400-1k in PVP, maybe your gun is broken? oh and i dont use a krayt fwg5, just a prenerf 1.8 296 max(with PU)

Wow I still can't believe that people think Bodyshot3 is worse then Bodyshot2.
Get a fast pistol (1.2 speed or below) and you are all set.
Bodyshot III and FanShot are the only Pistoleer Specials I use (Last Ditch is better then any other special pistoleers have)

Uh... right. I have a 1.0 speed FWG5 and still, I know tests have been done etc, but I don't see a huge difference in DPS, in reality.

Sooooooo... If nothing is fixed (ie our specials) according to what I have heard people say on these boards in this new publish... WHEN? The mysterious combat revamp has no date as of yet? No? Yes? Please say it does. Please. Any leaks on what is will DO? Me = Confused.

There's still at least one more "step" in the major changes planned by the Devs before the combat revamp. That step is the weaponry revamp. It will probably be many a moon :/

OK, so they're going to revamp combat. Let's see about some things that make sense.
First off, let's not have EVERY ranged weapon have the same max range. For God's sake, a Master Rifleman should be able to hit someone from 200 m away.
2nd, let's look at some of the individual weapons:
T-21: supposedly a "light-repeating blaster" yet it has a horrible Speed. Also, should probably do more damage as it is supposed to be the most powerful weapon carried by one soldier.
Bowcaster: why do these suck? They should be better.
DX-2, DXR-6: These are horribly out of canon. These are DISRUPTORS!! Armor doesn't stop them! They are supposed to be terribly powerful, but have a short range. The DX-2 has a max range of 7 m!!! the DXR-6 has a max range of 10 m! Both require a 5 second recharge time between shots. But, they typically cause death with one shot. They're also VERY illegal.
SG-82: This is a sonic weapon, not cold.
Spraystick: why in the world is this a RIFLE?
FWG-5: This is a flechette gun. Shouldn't it do kinetic damage?
Thermal detonators: why do bounty hunters not get certification in them? The only one you ever see in the movies is held by, that's right,a bounty hunter (well, someone pretending to be a bounty hunter).
Just a few little things I wish the Dev's would look at.
Oh, and this information come from the Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology.

Very good points, a nice short read (unlike my crap).
I recommend it to every Bounty Hunter.

I didn't know you can read your crap.. Does it have anything interesting to say? Or is it long, drawn out and never gets to the point?

Don't flechette weapons shoot hot bits of metal? Heat damagewould still be applicable.
I'm not sure the game mechanics would allow shooting from 200m, I don't even usaully see targets untill I get within 100m, but yes it's very silly that they all have the same range, 32m 64m 96m would seem better to me.
