Hi all,

Just a quick question and request. Can you repair armor that is at 0 or is it rendered useless at this point?

If you are a good smith on Corbantis, please send me an in-game email with your shop information, I need a really good set of Ubese. Thanks.

Can I please get an answer? Doesn't this board have a moderator to answer questions like this? I have read about repair but this question isn't addressed from what I have read. TIA.

I am not sure. But i tried to repair an entire set of ubese at 0 and it was all complete failures. that was with a 94% tool. my guess is no.

P.S. You are not likely to get a response if you start whining only 4 hours after you post. Moderators are not here to answer questions, Visitors like you and me are.

Armor that is at condition zero is unrepairable/ineffective, and will go to negative condition even if it's"successfully" repaired.

We had the composite Armor Pants from hell hanging in our guild hall. It's condition was somethinglike -35000. If the armor is at 0, it'sdone and gone. Not bad if you want a display suit hanging in your house though.

Hi There!
I have a set of Ubese that is getting knocked around quite a bit and needs some repair.
Do I have to find a Master Armorsmith to repair it, or can I buy a tool from one and do it myself?
At what point is the Armor NOT worth repairing??

Most people would repair their armor prior to it hitting 50% condition, (trend seems to show better success rate at doing it at this time)

You do not HAVE to be a Master amorsmith to repair the armor, but being one although not shown ins tat modification window may or may not help in the process.

Allrighty,
That answered 2/3 of my questions.
Can I buy an Armor Repair tool and use it myself???
I am only asking the question because I used to play UO, and a Blacksmith could craft an Armor Repair Deed and it would work for anyone because it carried the skill of the Blacksmith in it.
I didn't know if the Armor Repair Tools worked that same way or not.

The rating on the kit is what matters, not who made it or who is using it. I think armrosmiths should get repair bonuses, but right now nobody does. Get a 95+ tool and pray to the silicon gods, if you are lucky everything will be fixed.

Also, Master Artisans build better Armor Repair Kits than a Master Armorsmith. Go figure.............

Just to settle it, does having a master armor smith have any bonus repairing your armor compared to yourself doing it?

2 - "Oh MAN! That battle was AMAZING!"
3 - "I'm really getting sick of this grinding, but I'm almost there!"
4 - "I swear if that bug happens again, I'm quiting!"
5 - "Oh screw this! I'm quiting"
6 - Repeat from step 1
