I think the question is who's gonna bother making armor at all after CU

I was thinking about this earlier today... my cynasism tells me that we can kiss AAs and CAs goodbye. The game would be "fairer" if no one was allowed to be better than anyone else through any means, including game-play effort!
Well if you are right that would be a big change
. Forget about us moaning since the 12 points don't mean much anymore. The bonuses on the suits might very well dissapear when CU goes live

i dont get it, everyone who has made a new char as wook or trandoshan has read that wooks cannot wear normal clothes and dosh cant wear gloves/boots. Its like that! Dosh and wook might have some other mods or they might not, you have the choise of picking another race if you cant handle it.

Dbinky, I completely agree with you, they have moved from one unfair situation to another one since wookies and trandoshans can't get access to those extra CA/AA slots. Wookies have a whole different clothing situation already on live anyway which gave them some advantages and disadvanatges with regard to BE clothing. For the rest of the races of course its positive.
DiceDup, none of the armor pieces on TC5 had sockets, however all other pieces except boots and gloves had hinderance and resistance stats. Boots and gloves just listed these as zero. My assumption, and of course its only that is that the devsdidnt bother with sockets on the TC5 pieces, maybe so that anyone looting a good AA wouldnt get annoyed when they updated the serve 2 days later with new stuff and found their RIS suit with it in had disappearred. I am also assuming that sockets will be craftable when CU hits live of course.

As a dosh I simply wear bracers, biceps, and leggings. No armor hole problem solved.

As my alt is a trandoshan(ranger in fact) I don't care about the extra slots, its just some extra eyecandy mods. Nothing more. Maybe I'll get to own wookie slaves, good enough for me.

correct me if I'm wrong but don't Trandoshans and Wookies start with higher stats than anyone else? Will they cap out at 3000 health as well? Or will they have a 10% advantage over everyone else? Heck doc buffs will suposedly max out at only 20%.

If this is the case they should include glove model into the bracer models, and boot models into the leg models, to save crafting unneeded items, and so that players can not look dorkish by missing those pieces

Mabari belts don't require outlandish quantities of hard-to-find resources. Making gloves and boots to match the new armors will.
