Thread: Repairing Weapons
- How does repairing a weapon work? Is the result affected by wounds or battle fatigue?
- Is a weaponsmith better at repairing weapons than a toon with no artisan ability?
- Repair kit functionality ranges all the way to 100. 100% of what?
- How can a toon fail to repair something and totally break it the first time when the condition is 395/1000?
- Is repair performance significantly better above 50% condition?
lately everytime i repair my weapons it is lowering the min/max damage of the gun, after i repair it
before 150/1000 condition 150-490 damage
after 960/960 condition 80-380 damage
anyone else notice oddities while repairing??

I notice just the opposite, but I haven't repaired since this Geopatch went live.
That's a considerble change for a repair, could it have lost a muzzle of min/max damage somewhere?
Not to debunk your example but its rare to be reparing stuff with exactly 1000 condition these days.

those numbers were aproximations since i dont recall the exact stats, and no those numbers are the actual unmodified listed damages without powerups... repaired again for fun and my t21 rifle is now 80-190 damage, i mean i dont even think a weaponsmith could mess one up that badly even if they tried
something is fubar
just wanted to add, this has happened again on a different gun also, im officially not going to be repairing guns anymore and using them to extinction

It's not difficult to post exact figures. It's also not hard to postresults(ex. was it a minor blemish?).
Since you haven't gone so far as done any of this, before you exclaimed, "fubar", I humbly refuse tolift a finger toassist you. Keep ruining your weapons, its good for business.

The quality of the tool is what effects it. Use your med qual steel, and experiment it to 71% or hihg er and you will do fine.

The topic was repairing weapons. Lightsabers are weapons. The same repair kits are being used. The information is valid and appreciated. Having witnessed many of payingcusomer's comments to many threads the only thing that is clear is that he is an a$$clown troll. Ignore him.
