everyone starts with 10 points

at one point no one had extra experimentation points, just go about your thing and you will get there

I can put it simplest... Resist-wise, 12 pointswill only help you make better Stun. I'm saving all my Stun resources for when I get my other 2 points. Also, I'm a 10 pointer and the only one currently selling 71% base on my server (on the forums at least). As was said before, focus on PvE, especially 80/80/80/xx kinetic/energy armor. If you don't have all the best resources, make 80 kinetic/xx base (xx doesn't matter) with decreased HAMand sell it cheap. Cheap on my server would be 200-225k/set.

Also, when I first got armorsmith, I spent an entire month just fooling around with layers, ACAS's, armor pieces, and experimenting in each category just to get a feel for it. If you don't have a lot of starting capital, you may have to spend awhile gathering resources. Having basic scout abilities will save you a lot of money on wooly

A 10-pt AS can makenear or the same quality armor as a12-pt AS, if they know what they're doing. Of course, it takes a ridiculous amount of time and clicking, but it can be done.

The only reason you should have for not being able to hold up against a 12 pointer, if you have good resources and put some effort in, is just that you're trying to do too much. Your best option is to find a niche, I've seen it all over the place on these boards, and gods know I'm taking that approach.

I'm a 10-pointer, I doubt I'll ever be able to afford to get those extra 2 points, but I see no reason to complain. My 80% kin comp sells well, If I can get my hands on the darn hides it seems everyone wants padded... Just find something that you can do well, that isn't being done enough, and roll with it.

Hmm i sell my 38% Composite for 150k/suit. I don't think my vendor is well known cause no one buys it. I need to advertise more

if i get MA, i will only be a 10pt. MA, i cant compete with 12 pt. so i will just spend time master Armorsmith, but the 12pt. smith's will have better armor, meaning i can't compete. So is it a waste of time...?

Dude we all started at the bottom. A little tip for upcomers in the profession.

PRICE IT RIGHT!!!

I find a lot of new comers price there are armor way to high. They want to make the big bucks right away. Thats a sure way to fail. When i started I was always breaking even and sometimes in the negative cause i had to aquire a lot of resources. Sure my armor wasnt as good as the establised AS's but I aiways charged much less. And slowly but surely the customers started coming in. And as my armor got better I slowly raised my prices to reflect my work. And now my armor is slightly expensive but no one cares because i built up a good clental and and i go out of my way for my customers.

KEEP YOUR VENDOR STOCKED!!!!

I dont know how many times ii've said tis but keep your vendor fully stocked at all times. My factories never stop running!!! Nothing worse when u goto to your favorite vendor and see 100 right biceps and no left biceps. Always have crates of armor ready to go incase u start getting low on one particular piece.

ADVERTISE!!!!

Last but not least ADVERTISE!!! Let people know that u are there. No one will goto to your vendor if they dont know its there. The Trade forum is your friend. Its there for a reason. use it!!!. thousands of people go through it a day. or sit outside a starport and peddle your product. be careful not to get stupid on the spamming(every 1.5-2mins) is sufficient. If u over do it it can turn some people away and cause u loss of sales.

BE FRIENDLY!!!!

Take time to know your customers. Dont get pissed off if they ask u stupid questions. When someone sends u a /Tell or email try to respond to them as soon as u can. And this is a biggy, do those custom orders for them. it makes them feel special that u would take the time to go out of your way for them.

Trust me. if u follow this template you'll be rolling in credits and fast.

I hope this will help u and others.
