Jaato has been planning on leaving the correspondent role for over a month now. It is no surprise that the Armorsmith position is opening up. Everyone here in the Armorsmith community wishes him well.

These are voluntary positions and it is only natural to have turnover. Show some respect for the profession leaders that devote many hours of their time to help make the game more fun and enjoyable by all with zero benefits returning to them. I am always impressed by the amount of effort some players put forth for this game, and I hope their population grows.

Maybe SOE should look into finding some way of making it more rewarding for correspondents to fill the role. It does seem like there is too much turnover in the program.

I would hope that SOE performs some sort of 'exit interview' to determine the root cause why people leave......but i doubt it.

I see every reason why every Corr has left since I came on board.
Does this mean you understand why they left, or there is a list of reasons why every corr's reason for leaving. (you are not very clear here)

And your entire line of thinking is going the wrong direction.
It seems like there is too much corr turnover (you have GOT to agree with me here). Exploring why and ways to try and reward them to stay on as a corr is thinking in the wrong direction?

I have not seen one single person leave that would need an "exit interview" to get to some mysterious reason you are hoping forto see whythe program is failing.
I'm not looking for a mysterious reason, but rather look for commonality between those who leave and address the trends the soe team has the abilty to affect.

Quite frankly the program ismeant to havefresh faces (after a few months or so), along with keeping the Blue Glowies around of course
Really.... If the corr program was designed to keep a corr for only 3 months, and you have 39 in the program, you would need to hire a new corr every 2 or 3 days (assuming you fill a spot the same day it is open!)......... I think Tiggs has better stuff to do than hire corrs every 2 or 3 days...(but that seems to be par for the course lately)..

I really hate to see rumors spread, but at least this is so wrong we (the Corrs) should get a laugh out of it
What rumor are you talking about?

My comments arein green....

I think for the sake of trying to keep the Armorsmith community together and not trying to drive us apart with "I should be corospondant" threads, let's just send in our applications and let SOE make the decision without any complications from people burning tires in the street and whatnot because they wheren't correspondent...

at least my two cents...

No, I wholeheartedly agree with that.

I just posted all that, and a little bit about myself, on the off-chance I was chosen:

I don't want there to be the general feeling of "who the f*** is this guy?", especially given

most of the AS's here know each other very well.

I don't think the new coorespondant will be "I know this guy who would be great" It will be someone that is already here, someone that posts a lot and is already active on the boards. You will probably know the guy from the boards once they announce who it will be. I know who I have my bets on, hehe.

yep....hopefully they can find commonality they canhave affect on......

Why all the fuss over corrospondant turnover?

Originally, Corrospondants were only supposed to be such for a month, and then we'd get a new one.

Personally, I like having a consistant corrospondant, but still, the original plan was to have a month turnover.

If you are reading this Jaato, good job mate.

Now if only we could get an answer to how Armor Repair REALLY works, that would be cool.
