Some things that you need to consider when applying:

· Player Correspondents should be leaders in their community and set a positive tone.
· Player Correspondents should understand the technical aspects of playing the profession and the needs of their community.
· Player Correspondents should be in touch with the communities concerns, understanding the essence of why players pursue their chosen profession.

If this is something you are interested in, please write a short paragraph on why you think you would be a good candidate and email it to [email protected]. Please put Armorsmith Correspondent in the Subject Line. By submitting this email to us, you agree to allow us to contact you in connection with Star Wars Galaxies and agree that all correspondence with and material submitted to SOE will be the exclusive property of SOE and SOE may use such materials without limitation and in its sole discretion.
After we have reviewed the submissions, we will pick one person to be our correspondent. We will set them up with a special community title here on the forums and ask them to help highlight for us the relevant issues relating to this profession.
We will still continue to monitor the forums and read as many threads as we can. The correspondent is just to help us focus on the top issues and community concerns of the profession.
Thank you.

Jaato has been planning on leaving the correspondent role for over a month now. It is no surprise that the Armorsmith position is opening up. Everyone here in the Armorsmith community wishes him well.
These are voluntary positions and it is only natural to have turnover. Show some respect for the profession leaders that devote many hours of their time to help make the game more fun and enjoyable by all with zero benefits returning to them. I am always impressed by the amount of effort some players put forth for this game, and I hope their population grows.

I think for the sake of trying to keep the Armorsmith community together and not trying to drive us apart with "I should be corospondant" threads, let's just send in our applications and let SOE make the decision without any complications from people burning tires in the street and whatnot because they wheren't correspondent...
at least my two cents...
Agreed....and whomever is chosen is welcome to post a 'here is my bio' post...
..and anytime I interview someone for a job, if they cannot follow all the instructions, their resume goes in the circular file...

Maybe SOE should look into finding some way of making it more rewarding for correspondents to fill the role. It does seem like there is too much turnover in the program.
I would hope that SOE performs some sort of 'exit interview' to determine the root cause why people leave......but i doubt it.

I see every reason why every Corr has left since I came on board.
And your entire line of thinking is going the wrong direction. I have not seen one single person leave that would need an "exit interview" to get to some mysterious reason you are hoping forto see whythe program is failing. Quite frankly the program ismeant to havefresh faces (after a few months or so), along with keeping the Blue Glowies around of course ![]()
I really hate to see rumors spread, but at least this is so wrong we (the Corrs) should get a laugh out of it ![]()
