Fort Tusken on Tatooine drops Tusken Rifles i think.

I have gotten Bow Casters off of Rancors on Dathomir, so that implies that they drop that "type" of loot.

I have also looted "green" rifles with dots just from running Imperial missions (as in me killing Rebels).

I'm sorry but you might want to be a bit more specific than that my friend.

I just started working on Commando last night, so i jump on the boards to day, to get a feel of how the commando works. But by the way the it looks Commandos are not very pleased with there skills. The question I have is it still a good class or shouldI look some where else? Is it a fun class or is it busted?

Thanks for the help

Fun - Yes

Busted -Yes

Right now the only tree that works regularly is the flamethrower line, and this has a lower dps than other elite professions. The HAR is only a situational weapon against things with high flame resists and low acid (uncommon). Heavy weapons will cost you 1k or more per shot and have low accuracy and speed. Grenades often have their ideal range inside their blast radius, have terrible accuracy, are slow, and have HIGH HAM costs. Basically this proffesion is fun if you like blowing things up and setting them on fire.

Ancient weapons and hokey religions are no match for a rocket launcher in your backpack.

Think of Commando as a Car with 3 flat tires...It will still get you from A to Z, but it will be quite a bumpy ride...

We have one pretty good tire...our Flame Thrower...It's useful, especially for everyday use...but it has it's weaknesses, including running into higher level NPC's with high level Heat Resists...Overall, I still love my Flame Thrower...I'd prefer to return to the days of a more powerful DoT, but we still have one of the most powerful DoTs in game...

As for our other flat tires...our consumable weapons, our grenades and our Heavy Acid Rifle (HAR)...those are due for some love...

TH keeps telling us that Commandos are at the top of the list when it comes to the Combat Rebalance (which is coming in Publish 10)...Many of our issues are suppose to be addressed there...

So in reality, my question to you is "Do you have the patience to be a Commando?"...it can be a waiting game while we wait for our fixes to come...If you don't, the just get the Flame Tree of Commando for now...Those with Flame 4 are pretty much as good with the FT as a Master Commando...But if you have the desire to be a full fledge Commando, to know our pain and to rejoice when love finally comes, then seek the Master Commando box...It's all up to you...

In the meantime, while you are making your decission, be aware the greatest weakness of a Commando is the lack of close range defenses (melee) and ranged specials...so look at professions like TKA and Rifleman to finish your Commando tempate...just some suggestions...

Good luck...

I am trying to match the rebel shirt (loot dropped only item with the red/yellow patch on it) with pants. The thin striped pants do not match in texture and I cannot figure out which pants would match or which color it is. Looks like a greenish/brown color to me. Anyone ever match with this shirt? Can you post a ss of which color matches the shirt?

thanks so much

That rebel shirt is the Palin shirt if memory serves me?(at work and still a little foggy) I think striped slacks is what I used to make a uniform with that shirt, it has a smoother texture. The stripe on them is paterened so you'll have to play with it to get the matching red in the insignia (if that's what you're going for). The color on the shirt I found very difficult to match, but after a while I got it, I think I found it in one of the grey lines /shrug.

Another thing I tried that worked very well with that item, was to make Paramilitary Camos in a solid color (both colors the same). The stitches on the pants looks like the stitching on the shirt. It's my favorite item to use with that shirt so far, however I did not try to match the color on that one.

Usually if thin striped pants do not match well because of the shading (pinstriping) then striped slacks are a good replacement. They look simillar and have as solid texture.

I made a pair of pants to go with this shirt before. The one I thought worked the best for texturing was a pair of pants that are pretty old-school...hehe, try: "Casual Pants"

Does anyone remember what color actually matched the shirt? Someone mentioned that it's more grey but in the examine window it almost has a greenish tint.
