Well, if someone's laughing, it isn't from the Commando forums. Many of us are backing you here, the rest are being reserved. But we certainly don't think you guys are stupid or anything near that for this. We practically were up in arms ourselves yesterday.

'I nominate the Iraqi Information Minister as the new AS correspondant'...LOL
Becauses alot of people are resorting to humor when the chips are down and there seems to be no hope. Also because of what happened today, the AS forums has become the underground for the CU rebelion. I think it might take a few days for it to settle down after everyone has dumped thier frustration.

I support you guys, and feel sorry for the crap that's being shoveled to you. I have been a master CH since October '03, so I know how it is to be screwed by the devs and then be lied to about how and why it was done, and to have a complacent correspondent yes-man. Be glad for the correspondent you did have...

laughing stock, butt of jokes on other forums...? I have yet to see that...From what I have seen, most other profs are supporting AS's...moreso than I have ever seen.
Zion, with all due respect, PLEASE stop lecturing everyone...you don't represent all of us nor speak for all us...yet

Took a deep breath and relaxed 2-3 weeks ago, got excited about the curb - then the UT/SR change. Took that one, begrudgingly, but no complaints. They changed it back. Another deep breath, and then got on TC to grind. Saw the core resource requirements, complained a bit, but kept my mouth shut for the most part. Resource quantities dropped, took a deep breath... Stratic chat - complete waste of breath. Had a positive chat with helios after, wake up today, find out armor is not very useful, and our correspondant is gone. The corr who I agreed with at stood for what I wanted. If there is a light at the end of the tunnel, just say so DEVS. Doubtful, we would have probably got at least a generic response if there was much hope. Am i still holding out that they are actually spending time fixing our concerns - ABSOLUTELY - just not to optimistic at this point. A simple reassurace that we are not forgetten, and things are being worked on would go a long way with me. And if you can find a rational way to get through to the DEVS (Helios seemed at least responsive, so he is my fav dev now) sign me up. Okram didn't put is in our current "communication" situation. The truth of the matter is that we don't know what the DEVS are going to respond to. However - we have plenty of posts flame/constructive/"I quit"/Rational to at least cover the bases.

I'm sorry Zion. I think your posts are spot on most of the time, but you keep bringing up this point that the ASs are clamoring for the old system. Yes, there are a few that want that, but most of the posts are about fixing the system in CU to have aspects of the old, but be the old. More experimentation, less named resource requirements, less resource requirements overall, less factory time. These aren't examples of bringing back the old system.

I'm not better than anyone Rapt. I'm an AS, just like the rest of you watching my community and circle of friends fall apart on this forum.
You know me since we play on the same server and you seen me react to bad situations as calmly as possible. Again, I'm just trying to calm our community, which I realize is a very hard thing to do right now. I don't have any answers, I'm just as in the dark as anyone else. I wish I did.
It's about friendship and a sense of community. Not about being "better."
