Thread: yeah 70% base but now a question
You sure about that? Stun is a completely different beast - since it's a vunerability of comp you'll need to use most of you experiementation points on the resistance of the layer, rather than the quality (assuming you want more than a few percent stun resist per layer).

Dirth,
I currently get 69% base and 20% stun (Thats enough to make a huge difference to all the AP0 stun weapons - true the effect to the Jawa will be limited, but we can still use PSG's)
My main drive is to createa few 90% sliced suits - at 70% base 1 in 10 slices will hit this value... I think 90% base, 20% stun will sell on the auctions very nicely.

If you could choose between 90% base (only electric as special due to electric layers) - and a 80% kinetic and around 90% base set, why would you prefer the kinetic one, which seem to be most answers in this thread?
Have gotten a bit confused here.
ScyBorg, I think what they were referring to by saying that is that every Blast/elec/etc layered armor that didnt get an efficientcy slice was unsellable.
Its true that 80 blast, or electrcit etx layer w/base slice reaching 80+ will definatly sell. But thats going to be a minority or the armor you produce, and everything that doesnt get a decent eff slice is probably gonna goto waste. Thus itstypically more profitible to make 80kin armor, which will sell at some price regardless of slice, to making 80blast armor, which 70% of what you make will probably languish on your vendors.
