First off let me appologize for not saying this eariler.
I strongly believe that Oa'Kron was the best thing to happen to the AS community. His input and expertise will be greatly missed.

I have gotten a few PMs already from people asking (and a few demanding) that "No one should run for AS Corr".
Let me be blunt. Without an active and passionate Correspondent we as active armorsmiths ingame will get screwed. We need a voice. Is my voice the right one? Well time will tell but the fact is is that without a Voice we will get nothing. We need a calm open minded and person to finish what Oa'Kron started.

I refuse to get in flame wars and while it does suck big monkey butt that Oa'Kron "had to leave" it does not change that fact that he can no longer 'get our backs' we need someone who can ASAP. Again, in the end I am sure that there is someone out there that is better than me but believe me when I say I am passionate about SWG and I will bring out issues to the Devs.

my TC toon is Moge Chilastra.
I have been on TC every night since it was open. I was the first to join the AS Guild with Oa'Kron outside Keren. I'm also Master Artisan (need Survey) and I am few a few more hours away from Master AS. I slowed my grind so that I could actually build items rather than race to Master.

I have submitted tons and tons of /bugs and I have made a fair ammount of Bug Thread posts here on the boards.

Disillusioned or ignorant? I have a hard time distinguishing which i see more of. The fact is that everything we had a chance of getting changed before the CU has been changed, and not because Tiggs or TH went to the devs with it. I don't see you doing anything other than being a place holder. There are regulars on here that are 100x more qualified, yet i know they don't want it after seeing how things are done. Whats makes you confident you are going to be anything other than a carpet for them to walk on.

you got a point, but like many pointed out, the devs are more concerned with getting the new patch out than getting the RIGHt patch out =(...

i wish you luck tho, someones gotta do it, im sure the devs hear what the corrospondant say, but they might not listen to it.

Huzzah!

The dev's dont need a correspondent for AS, they know better than we do. They know what we want better than we do. You can try to bring all the issues to the devs as you wish, but you know the result will be zip. Seriously, if you get the job, good luck to you, but I can never ever see one single Armorsmith replying to posts anymore constructively regarding issues after this fiasco. There will always be an element of "Why bother" in this profession forum from this day forward. It has been a PR nightmare, a sheer example of a large corporation shattin on the little guy who makes their buck for them.

let SoE be their own correspondent for a few months. it's certainly one way to prevent correspondent abuses.

i agree they touched alot of raw nerves to night and already added to the deep ill feeling already there.

Let me assure you I am not fronting myself as a Knight-who-will-save-the-day. Believe me when I say I know this job will pretty much be bashing my head against the wall. I have no grand scheme to get mass changes or to even guarentee that our voice will infact be heard.

I know my timing is a little off in posting this so fast but I assume the Devs will fill the position pretty quick and I need to head out tonight so I wanted to post prior to leaving for the evening.
