I understand what your saying, and I will definetly carry on using TKM. Its just that when I see other people completing their xp in 2 weeks, I wish that was me I will try what you said about C12's, and thanks for the advice.

it can be done chaeply with C12s but takes a long time to kill the lair..or you can buy imp dets and get 100k combat xp in the time it takes for a neutron pixie to wear off.

BTW i buy my imp dets in bulk..like 40 crates for 1.4 mill and i can cap xp once per crate.....1.4 mill for 40 xp caps=4 FS branches (give or take a box)

I feel you pain!!! I started my serious grind like4 weeks ago. It took me 3 weeks to complete one branch, and this was serious weapon xp caps. I have master swords/TKA 4/3/4/4/Master Medic i was cap'ing sword 900k 2 to 3 times per buff doing a serius grind on endor just killing anything that came my way. This sort of grind was just enough to burn me out. I stopped also because i saw all my guild mates and other noobs passing me by doing the Commando grind and unlocking. Yes its expensive as hell. My suggestion is go and find yourself something you can trade or sell on the trade forum. Get about a mil or two and go get yourself commando 4/0/0/0 buy some Imp nades and go Baz Nitch hunting with solo group. Dont expect anyone to help you because alot of people are pissed as it is that there are too many jedi. I am now doing the Commando grind and i find it to be alot easier. I have been playing since Feb '04 and was able to collect some good veteran rewards i sold for a couple of Mill. This funded my nades and if i run short i will finish with the sweat of my sword.

IMO The hard work that one puts into the game i believe give you the right to get jedi. Does'nt matter what/how you get there. Well if you are a Ebay jedi then i can understand that sort of frustration, there is no honor or sweat put into that jedi char. Ebay Jedi's in my opinion defeat the purpose of playing this type of game or any game.

Good Luck,

May the force be with you!

Another good way for grenades, is to supply the resources to the weaponsmith, and have him make you a deed for your nades. Then you complete the creation process in your own equipment factories with the necessary resources.
This way, you should find the weaponsmith will be more than likely to only charge a small amount for the initial work done. And the rest is history.

If you've only just become FS, you can do it the normal way, capping out your weapons xp once a night for the whole 3 weeks of each phase. By the end of each 3 weeks, you will have enough xp to fill up that phases branch you unlocked.

The only reason i went the grenade route was i had already gotten my unlocks done, i just needed the XP to fill out all 6 branches. So i chose to use nades to speed myself up for the xp earning.

Good luck, which ever way you choose to do it.

Thanks for the advice, but looking at the numbers you posted that would mean 35k a crate. On Bria I haven't seen any cheaper than 75k a crate. I will post in the weaponsmith forum and see if anyone would do it cheaer for a bulk order. thanks for all the help.

Honestly though save your money then because you will spend a lot on nades. Not anywhere nere like a commando does for their high end nades but some hundred thousand you will. Personally why do you want to have it done in 2 weeks when you still have to wait anyways. Personaly if you are tight on funds just use your normal tkm and max it out and convert and wash and rinse. It may even be easier to grind out Rifleman or Swordsman and then you just max out that along with tkm and that will give you about 200k combat xp also. Many options here but if you play like regularly then you will be fine in the 3 weeks. I personally say save your money then cause you will need it when you get padawan.

TKM is what I am using and I max out to fast I won't tell you my secret because I don't want it to fill up but I would suggest getting Master Fencer or Pikes that way you will be turning in 1.8 million exp and maxing both tkm and fencer you should be able to max combat exp when you go to the village. I have just started fencer to test this but it should work a lot of people do something like this plus with fencer and tkm you can pvp if you get bored. not to mention you can loot whore very well with tkm/ fencer with the all that defense and tkm speed then just pick up novice medic you'll be good to go.
