Thread: A plea for help
Do a search in the chef forum (advanced search at bottom of page) and look for macros. It will take some time to track them down...maybe 5-10 minutes.Visit www.swgcraft.com. Go to the chef forum, and use the search feature there. I know there are macros there, I saw them months ago.
The macro I used is as follows. I'd suggest using 4-5 tools (I used 5). Hotkey them to a vacant panel (I used #3 and deleted the frilly emote crap)
/ui action toolbarSlotxx; (xx=slot number on your hotkey bank)
/selectDraftSchematic xx; (xx=schematic #...youmust experiment to find out what it is at your stage)
/pause 5;
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype practice no items;
/createPrototype practice no items;
/pause 3;
copy this text;paste it 4 times (so5 runs total), changing the toolbarSlot # each time to match which hotkeyslot you are using for your tools. I used the first 5 (00-04).
at the end of the macro, add in this line
/ui action toolbarSlotxx (xx=slot you hotkeyed the macro)
Once the macro is complete, simply drag it to an open hotkey on the same tab with the tools (I used slot 10 -which was the zero key).
This macro will generate no product, so you can grind on end for hours and hours. If you want product, simply remove the references to "practice no items". You just need to be there to click on the resources...unless of course you have a programmable input device (strategic commander).
Also worth mentioning, if you are going to macro, you must stay away from crafting stations, crafting droids, etc...as they will mess up the macro by activating experimentation.
Disclaimer: This worked for me...no promises for anyone else.
The semi-colons may be needed...maybe not, I simply took things that I saw on forums a few months back and duplicated the effort. Pauses may need to be adjusted...I tweaked mine many times from as low as 4 seconds to as high as 8. Also, I used 5 tools because the timing seemed to work best for me. Also some of the commands can be abbreviated, but I never went into that much detail while using the macro.
Hope this helps.
There aren't any good crafting macros. There are crafting macros but none of them are good. The problem is there's no way to select resources in crafting. It must be done manually. Becoming a crafter, more specifically gaining an elite crafting mastery, isn't a casual thing.

Firstly I'd like to apologise for asking this, but I really have run out of other options. I'm trying to go for Jedi, just like most people here, and after grinding 1 branch of FS using TKM, I have found that the only realistic way for me to grind the rest is using grenades. Unfortunatley using grenades is very expensive, and I simply cant afford it. So please could any kind people from Bria help me out here? I thought the people here would understand what I was going through. I'm not sure of the exact amount needed, but I've been told around 10 million is needed to complete the grind (Can anyone confirm this?). So please help me out, so that I can grind FS and still retain my sanity
Oh and no flames please, I'm just asking for help.
Well I used TKM for my grind and i did it with quite ease. I don't know what your problem is. You have 3 weeks plus a few days per phase. It is VERY easy to fill a branch in that time. I got into solo groups and did 13k quenker missions and racked up 75k xp per lair in abou 3 mins tops or so. If you can't find solo groups just go to Yavin or Endor and run and hunt non stop. On about my 4th branch i used c12's but not like how others did. I would go to the inital spawn, use 2 full nades (10 uses for 2 nades) and once done i would finish em of with tkm then do the lair and spawns with tkm. I would get about 5k extra combat xp for this and it only takes maybe an extra minute. So when you cap your 900k i had about 180 or 190k of combat xp also instead of the normal 90k combat you would have likely after hitting the 900k mark.
Then my last box on 6th branch i did the normal 5k quenker missions from a solo group and attack the main lair first then just sat on top of the lair and kept throwing c12 after c12 untill all quenkers and its spawns died. You get about 2500 combat xp per kill and took about 5-10 mins if i recall.
Anyways my point is you have 3 weeks per phase and it is easy to accomplish without nades.
