A leader does not need athrone in which to sit. A leader only needs his or her feet to go into battle. Take a look at the profession boards...the vast majority of them have dedicated testers other than the corres. I'm sure this fellow, Oak will continue to lead and serve his profession. He does not need the accolades as much as the respect of the people who can use his work. I Salute this person as he obviously cares quite passionatley about his profession.
I am hard pressed to believe this Zion character cares for anymore than than the afore-mentioned throne. I hope he gets it and continues to act the way he is acting. The throne is an excellent target place for the tomatoes that will inevitbly be thrown.

What makes you the person that people are claiming you to be is the fact that you have to sit there and respond to everything. You say you have a level head? You cant let ANYTHING go. You have to sit there and continually defend yourself for some unknown reason.
Your never going to do any good by sitting there and responding to anyone. Im not saying they are wrong in their opinion of you, as i agree with them, but the fact that you snap back every chance you get does not make you a better person. That fact that your assuming that people are talking about you, even though you may be correct....makes you look dumb. The fact that you continue to draw attention to YOURSELF is unbecoming.
If in fact you would happen to become AS coorespondent....i will drop it immediately, and never come here again. I refuse to be lead by a person with as narrow of a mind as yours...or be lead by someone that has in the past continually talked down to people....and would drop it for that before i would drop it for the CU. And that my friend, is saying alot.

This is what you dont understand.......Having this profession lead by you.....would be the end of the Armorsmith profession.
A coorespondent is someone that CAN deal with people.....something you have NEVER shown until this recent...."OMG i might have a chance!! Better put my act routine on!!" act that you seem to be portraying.

In no way is it to late to change things in the CU. Yes it is probably to late to completely start over and give us our full Exp lines back. but it is no no way to late to do 90% of the things that we are asking for.
What we are asking for is nothing massive, nothing CU-Breaking. We just want some tweaks to the current system. Yes we have some non-basic stuff as well I agree with that but we have three weeks, three weeks of testing is seriously a lot of time. This is why we need a Corresponent ASAP. Wether is it me or Zion or others we just need a voice.
"The Devs won't listen" is what I hear from almost everyone. Well that may or may not be true. But I just refuse to give up on a game I have played for almost 2 years out of spite.
In the end at least I can say I went down fighting.

Line 1) Hardly. It would just mean it would change. Check the scout forums lately? They got a pretty abrasive corrospondant, and he does all right by them.
Line 2) Oh really? So that whole "Let me share my RIS crafting findings" post showed absolutely nothing in terms of interacting and giving back to the community? You paint me as the villian because I am CONVENIENT for you. Picking on me is the easy way out for you - it gives you a target to attack. But while you are attacking me, I am actually TRYING to get proactive threads off the ground, in hopes to salvage here. And don't give me this "its an act to get the corro job" crap - I had 2 threads already up trying to do this earlier this week, long before Any of us knew this would happen with okram. No, you just need someone to pick on, and I am convenient for you. Good job, you represent everything people hate about our community.
Line 3) I am not worried either. If I get it great, if I don't good luck to whoever does get it, because if they act like you, they will be ignored by the devs, and if they actually try to be patient and rational, you and your type will label them a brown-noser. People like you are setting up the next corrospondant to be an a "damned if they do, damned if the don't" position. And for that, you are making a horrible, horrible mistake that will set us back even further than the blatant disregard for rules, authority, and protocol that has been seen on this forum has.
But hey, you feel perfectly justified in acting like an @ss - so far be it from me to dissuade you. By all means, continue. You all have done such a WONDERFUL job of getting changes made to the profession already by acting like this. /sarcasm
