I had a vendor account which at one time held over 12k items this way, evey 20-30 days start pulling bags and relisting them with good timing it would take no more than 2 hours to relist it all. boring yes, but it works.
that sounds like an option, can also hold every thing close to my while crafting without running from house to house, gona try some thx

jedi gives another 10 lots. i use mine for storage
also, try vendors. there was a bug/exploit a while ago.. dunno if it's still around or not. but i know someone who stored a few thousand items in a house. which reminds me i need to check on it again, and get it reported again. but other than that, friends work well. and try cross server lot trades. factories are nice for storage too. but i'm a big fan of houses. used to have one house for each type like copper house, steel house, etc.

never ever ever do this for resources. I did it once (started just putting cloth and other crap in there, but ended up needing it for more resources and then eventuallly most of my stash was in there) and the guy took everything I had. I caught him while the house was half emptied, and I was no longer on admin. Let a CSR know, sent 5 tickets, never got anything back and he never got suspended or banned. I check his forum profile and he hasn't posted for over a year and never sold anything on either trade forum, so my resources are still out there somewhere
it is his house and he can take whatever he wants if you put resources in it

I'm on Eclipse, and I mine like a fiend. Of course, I'm addicted.
But when I burn through primus cores as fast as I do, I need to be looking at doing full factory runs of primus cores. 1k cores = 3k segments = 12k layers = 300k neutronium steel alone. Times three armors, that's 900k per factory run. At the rate I'm going I could go through six to twelve factory runs a year of assault and battle, half to two-thirds that of recon, so yeah, when something in a layer comes into shift, I mine my little heart out.
I use a storage vendor. It's got a risk, though, since vendor bugs happen. I have a friend who has her stuff poofing. >.< (Not expiring, just poofing.) But I'd rather not use that method at all, and I do it reluctantly, and I greatly hope to see some sort of "resource storage unit" come to be in the near future. It'd be a great boon to all.

What I do is keep lootable pouches on me, rename them to components I am currently making, and drop the resources needed to craft them in them. I keep all surplus resources in my backpack. All the extra resources that can be used during my crafting are seperated by type in chests or any furniture containers. And the resources I keep for the long hull I place them in a backpack (which are categorized by resource type i.e. hides, minerals, etc) in my vendor for safe keeping. I feel that this is the best way for me to keep things organized.

I used to use factories... but when I got master merchant I started using a storage vendor.
With the search feature I price my resources according to type:
Resources used in Layers were 33333333, used in RIS Segs 44444444, used in Cores 55555555
Generic 'good' resources were 88888888, other resources 99999999.
Once I move locations I'll be using a bit more complicated method but which should enable me to pick the resources I need quicker (so I can slim down my inventory by converting them into Cores, then eventually into Suits). Mainly though it should more accurately tell me what resources I'm missing and what I still need to harvest or buy.
I'll be breaking the price into three parts; the first 2-digit being the specific use:
Layers 33
RIS Segs 44
Cores 55
Appearence Only 66
Generic Multiple use 'perfect' 77
Generic Multiple use 'best' 88
Generic use others 99
Then the next 2-digit is what type of armor:
Battle 00
Recon 11
Assault 22
Generic Segment use 33
RIS Segments 44
Generic Multiple use 'best' 77
Generic Multiple use 'good' 88
Generic use others 99
The final 4-digits is the 'quality' of resource:
best 7777
good 8888
other 9999
So it comes out that the best Dant Wooly I have would be 55227777 priced and if I was going to look for all the dant wooly I have I would search for prices ranging from 55227777 to 55229999.
And if I have some generic good quality steel it would be 88888888 (as is most of my resources).
The only 'problem' is that every three and a half weeks I'm restocking my vendors by selecting everything by price and reselling it.
A lengthy time that should enable me to have more play-time otherwise and all my resources should be easily chosen by myself when crafting.
I'll give it about 2 months before I go back to my simple scheme of all a single digits for each 'class' of resource (all 3's for Layers, all 5's for Cores, etc).

I sell 75-100+ suits a week running 45 factorys non stop 24 for layer production 6 for segments 2 for cores and 9 for completed products and some for tailor parts.....
I mined and let mine less resourses 9 months ago but some Resourses I had where needed to make the best and I wass running out of it so I needed to buy it ad 40cpu now and buying them for 6 months over around 5mil units ad the cost isn't funny so that is the main reason to mine ad this scale, I mine and let mine for 1 year+ on sales
I had 3 sales points and tring to sell less to go to smaller shops make my prices higher but It never slows down.
Ad this point I ended up in our guild mall selling 60-100mil on armors a week
75-100+ layerd suits a week for 650k a piece and around 20 factional suits layerd with best posible resourses
I make runs of 140 suits + 60 extra helmets pants and chest a run ad the moment all default color du the color bug
I burn a lot of resourse down this whay so 200mil units is not to mutch to keep the business running and planning 1 year+ ahead
but I tried the sugestion from vendor storage room, en put all items in a bagpack 20 stacks max
Labeld the as follow
Resourse type / resourse name / OQ= / SR= / DR= / (amount of k )
Perovskitic Aluminium Iade OQ1000 SR936 DR857 (2000k)
I put in only 20 stack max so I can handel it better in inventory then 50 stacks ad ones when I need some resourses out of it
