I'd also be more than willing to help out with graphics design, if you could use my help. I can't say that I am very active within the AS community because I do not own an Armorsmith character, but I love web designing and everything that goes with it. I also believe I can contribute something to the site that not too many others could: a guide to crafting the elusive Mandalorian armor.(p.s I'm friends with Lynnaea / Naea!)

Hmmm you know Naea. You must be cool! Talk to Keeper and Shiro about graphics/design stuff and I'll get with you about writing things.

Hehe. Photoshop is my forte. I've used Flash MX a few times, but not enough to be able to design some of the amazing things I've seen are capable with the program.
I got bored and made this banner for the DWB section today using Photoshop CS2. Whether or not it is feasible to use depends on the layout that is chosen for the site.

Well, I just saw that Keeper claims to be a specialist at Flash. Dynamic websites have always grabbed my attention moreso than ones that are purely HTML, and I must admit that Flash is my weakness when it comes to web development. So, I think I'll let Keeper take care of that aspect and I will focus more on writing guides about topics of which I am knowledgable. I think I could probably write a bangup walkthrough to the DWB complete with crafting process screenshots.

I've done quite a few runs into DWB (successful completions on jetpacks and Mando) myself, so I'll be able to help out with that. I think my biggest (and most daunting) task is going to be rewriting Jaato's guide and incorporating everyone else's work as well into it. I'm not sure how I'm going to organize the guide either, at the moment. I might need to talk to our graphics monkies some.

Guides are cheating :-p we pioneered the DWB before the guides came out!

Hehehehe. Well, I'm not sure whether or not you are affiliated with Rhy's DWB team, but if you are, then I submit myself to your supremacy.
I have to admit that I have asked Rhy for advice in the past, and although we have crafted somewhere between 10-15 Jetpacks, it doesn't come anywhere near to his count I'm sure.
That's ok, though. Kauri's wookiees are better because we got Lynnaea at the helm!

If you want to help with some flash, we could use a skilltree that looks like the one in-game
I think I have my hands full making us the catalogue hehe.

I think we need big " Info for customers" section here . Simple, easy to understand answers to all 1000000 questions we get from customers every day will be just great. We have a lot AS ( and customers) on European servers who's first language is not english ( like me :smileywink
so it will help us a lot.
Also, we can put there ( and update) best possible armor stats for every server .
Thank you,
Ma-ma

Told ya I'd get the ball rolling on this this week. I'll be contacting several of you later today on MSN who I told I would to discuss things.
I'm going to try and keep this as a sort of log page for progress and each time I update, I'll stick the date and notes.

Talked with Scorpius, Keeper and Shiro tonight. Discussed the feasibility of a bug database for us to put things in, as well as some other database and graphical options. Talk with Scorpius if you would like to help with the coding side of things, Keeper or Shiro about the graphical design side, and myself about the writing.

*Questions I'd like to get rolling:
I'd like to kind of organize us into small teams, where each person can do what they're especially good at (yes, you can cross and mingle between if you're good at a few things)
1) Who would be willing to host this since my idea with VT fell through (I.E. Server "Team" including our web-savvy PHP/SQL/Insert appropriate Acronym here people)
2) Who would like to head the Art "Team"
3) If no one objects, I would like to head the Writing "Team"
4) What other types of "Teams" do we want/need?
Feel free to kick ideas around in here, share what you have, etc. This is OUR website, and everyone in the community is welcome and encouraged to contribute.
*Last notes - Things I'd like/"Can we do this?"
-Journal for whomever the Corr is at that time to keep you guys updated (As I hope this would last beyond my time as Corr)
-Test palettes to play with?
I'll let you know more as I think of it.

Actually, I don't yet. When Scorp, Keeper and I all talked, I asked Scorpius to talk to the people who'd offered space and go from there, since he's the 1337 c0d3r d00d.
