Assault armor has an unlayered cap of 7000 kinetic/5000 energy/6000 special. You get UP TO a 400 point addition on the final combine, so you only need your cores (not counting layers) at 6600 kinetic/4600 energy/5600 special to reach that cap. If you go over, you only reduce the amount of the 400 extra points you get. In your case, since you only went up 118 points, I bet your cores if you removed the layers were 6882kinetic/4882 energy/5882 special. Since you are only 118 points from the cap on the unlayered part, you are only added that much at the final combine.


THEN, they count your layers into it giving your the resists that you got.


In summary, you went a little overboard with your core and segment resources and need to improve your layer resources (if possible).

I'm not sure what the experimentation % was on my layers, but they are +92E/-93K. And yes, that is the best possible for my server.

I got the schem about a month before health enhancers were fixed, but finally gave in and crafted it like a week before

Grats man. TBH I don't eat cake anymore, my results (not scientific) have pointed towards cake giving me repeatedly poor results combined with capped assembly. Found this to be the case when I did a suit of enhanced RIS, all the peices with cake were 1 and 2 sockets, even had a zero. When I stopped eating the cake I went back to 3-4 stable. I still get 1s and 2s on occasion, but no where near as often as I did with the cake. Maybe the bantha butter was bad. When I wasn't assembly capped the cake helped alot, but with the cap it just seems to adversely affect my peices in my experiance.

the AS room is pretty easy. there's only 1 level to it, so you dont have to worry about making sure you get aggro on mobs above/below you. but ya, just have everyone stand on the opposite side of the room from you and taunt/dominate mind all the mobs onto themselves so that they stay off you. i think only 4 mobs spawn in the AS room, so it's not too bad.

gratz on the armor..will use that for a ref...i am not a AS..but loot mizer..heh...i have gotten all the bharmor components off the blacksun on yavin and now getting the armer enhancement thingies from acklay....i have group of friends that i do the dwb with..we just started about a month ago and been getting everyones jetpacks..which i also finally got base for...i dont mean to highjack the thread but since you just went thru it..figured you could answer couple questions for me...if you dont mind..if so then just ignore this post.....1. do you have to make a trip for each piece of armor...if so ..that means 10 trips..or does bracer and bicep make both at once which would cut it down to 8,,i have two of each so np there if so..2. i take it i will still need 8/10 of each of the liquids off the ghost wraiths?....


i have a armorsmith friend but he has never tried to craft this before . so i figured on starting him out on the bracer or biceps first to see what happens...i guess the boots/gloves and belt . dont give protection do they...so maybe do them next..and save helm/chest/pants for last...anyways..thx for your time..peace out

1. One time through for each piece. So, 10 of each liquid and 10 trips down.


2. Tell your armorsmith that you need 11 energy layered advanced assault armor cores with +30 health (or more)in each core. To get that, you will need lots of rancor hides or kimogila scales with +10 or better. I wouldn't make anything that goes into your cores without an armorsmith inspiration buff.


3. You will also need 7 peko peko feathers with +20 health. These are pre-cu feathers. Make them into feathered appearence enhancers that give +20 health each. When you combine the feathered appearence enhancers with the +30 cores in the final combine, your piece will come out with +50 health.


4. Take a screen shot of the color choices when you're making each piece. Tailors, DEs and Armorsmiths each make different pieces of the suit and they each get a different color pallette. I would start with the helmet, which the DE makes, because the DE gets the smallest color pallette. The additional colors that an AS and Tailor get are added in order from left to right, so they can just look at the screen shot of the colors the DE chose and count from left to right on each pallette to get the right colors. When the DE and tailor are making the armor, they will need the correct number of cores and a feathered appearence enhancer from steps 2 and 3 above.

cool..thx for the info...i got the peko peko from pre cu..so that shouldnt be a prob..just gotta find em in my dam mess of loot..lol...i very much appreciate the info...will start with the helmet as you suggest..i got like 5 of em..so if he screws up..we can always do another..lol...will follow this thread for awhile..to see if anyone posts more info...i may even make one of my alts AS..if friend has probs..peace out

oh wait..i had nother question..and again i am so sorry for what has now become a thread highjacking...but noone else would answer my questions......if we take the helm component and all the feather enh..arm enh..etc etc...first trip..can a DE make the helm..or does an AS need to make a schematic from the bh/mando loot first...do you get my meaning...and then we take schematic and de down with all the liquids / feather/arm enh..etc etc...i hope i asked that right..

for the helmet, you have to take a DE with you. he needs to have a BL, PLC, BH helm, and alum mineral. He drops all the loots into the crafting droid and starts the process. When the process is complete, he will have a schematic for Mandalorian Helm in his inventory. He then needs to use the radial menu to learn the schematic, and then needs to get Assault Armor cores from an AS to use in the crafting of the helm.

man i so glad i am just a lowly jedi..yall have it rough as AS,,crafting profs...so last post brings question back...once DE does what you said . can he craft the helm or does it take another trip ...again...sry...i can kill anything in game...but i know crap bout crafting..thx again for input


my bad..what i meant to ask was do we still need an AS in group for this ...or can the DE have everything in his inventory to start with and finish the piece
