Its called Marketing....spin...lying.....depends on your point of view.
Its was obvious they were going to release no matter what. They had a market deadline to meet. Now they just have to come up with something that those not in the know could believe.

plus...i will say to openly admit you only planned to test it for 1 month is not very smart. Something of this magnitude is not a one month testing cycle which is why expect us to be Beta testers for a bit.
