After working hard at armorsmithing for a good 6 months, collecting the best resources you can find, reinvesting every penny you actually make in better resources and skill tapes, you may begin making decent money as an armorsmith.

Yes, but you will not have the time to spend it

I have one of the highest revenue of any crafter on the server, but keeping the business going takes 80% of my playing time.....

Not mentionning the fact that for someone starting now it would be very very hard to be successfull as you would have to find a way to steal customers from the current main armorsmiths and it would not be because you are making better products.........

It's been said before, but you get out of it what you put into it. I can make 100 mil a month but it's way toomuch work.

An understanding of how experimentation works helps with making quality product is my advice to you.

I could clear 1.5 million in a buff session when I had Rifleman/CH... don't even need armor or buffs, so investment and costs are really low.

Trust me, Armorsmith takes far more time and dedication to be "great" at than Jedi does!

Smuggler or Swordsman is my vote for the best money-maker in-game. Smuggler since they can slice and re-sell armor and weapons with huge markup. Swordsman since they can do missions and get loot easily.

I am an armoursmith/doctor/archi so here is what i have found. Armoursmith makes the MOST money, but its harder to do, is very time consuming, and requires alot of external factors to be in your favor (location, word of mouth, how many other AS's are on the server)

Doctor is very very good money, IF you can manage to keep enough meats in stock, particularily avian. It requires very little playing time to make buffs, and you get alot of return customers coming in every few days

Archi is easy money as well, as lots of ppl need harvs. The only downside, AND ITS A BIG ONE, is that it requires so much ore that you must have lot trades to make it as profitable as the other profs. Oh sure you can buy the ore, but you will NOT make much profit, because harvesters are sold at around 4cpu, whereas it costs 2cpu for resources (compare this to armoursmith which sells for about 100cpu++).

If you had to choose between the 3, i would pick doctor. If you could choose 2 of the 3, and you DONT have much start up cash (needed to be successful in AS), i would suggest doctor, archi

Lastly, if you are new to crafting and want a prof that will make you money the fastest, choose archi because it doesnt require ANY extinct resources. Everything can be basically medium to low quality resources except about 1500 metal/steel per harv, and there is usually a spawn of these every week or two.

I'm not sure that even with time and money you could even compete...

On most servers a handfull ( or less) of armorsmiths have a solid control of the market and very loyal customers and it would be terribly hard for a newcomer to grasp a decent market share....

I make about $6 mm a day on average (weekends huge, some days $1-2 mm)......even when Im not logged on. My partner does maybe $1-1.5 mm a day. So our vendors turn some armor over in a week.

I maintain 20 factories, and my partner has about 15 more. We keep 2-4 factories running components 24/7. I always have segments and layers running and I always do 45 suit runs with named bags so I can just load suits on vendor. 5 Types of Composite. My partner does Ubese and padded.

Once yu have stock piled the resources, and mine your own resourcewhen a new "better" thing hits, its just good process and discipline. I guess I make maybe 90-100 new suits a week. Once I got a bunch of factories it got a whole lot easier.....Idon't have to "piece" suits together.

Is it the "richest" profession? I dunno. Its darn close though if you are at top of your game.
