It was a good question, and could have been answered simply as well without necessarily pointing to a stickie.

this too.. another example of why even veteran AS's dont come here for answers... SOME.. not all, are just downright rude....
so he's an idiot for asking a question and wanting an answer for something that may have changed since the info in the stickies was written?

, can answer the question without haveing a "Look at the stickys" fit..
Only reason i'm loseing it here is because i've had 3 novice AS's come to me for help recently...
All of them told me they had been here and had a sticky thrown at them.. or been treated as elood and milakar, like steerage...
This is a place they are supposed to be able to go to for help, not more headaches... Even stickys sometimes don't explain things where a novice will understand...
HELP if your gonna post... then expain that the sticky is there if they need more info, thats how it should be done, period.

The fact of the matter is that the stickies describe it best, so we always point people there first. If you don't understand something in the sticky, then say so and people will gladly help you understand.

again,(if i'm going to reply)....i answer them first and tell them theres more info in the stickys.. quicker for them (if the answer is what they're looking for), quicker for me(extra info is in the stickys if i didnt answer it), and evidently a pain in the a$$ for others...
Lol! True! The "idiot" statemet was pretty harsh. Usually you don't get more than a singe word, let alone a whole statement out of Natalya. This is probably why. He get's to worked if he writes too much!
It's funny, I've also seen him flamed for answering questions too directly.
