Im pretty certain Ive seen a kliknick enhancer before in game, so I dont know why you think they dont exist. Also, I dont see anything about an energy bonus on either one of these. Again, chitin isnt too good in factional/npc combat where energy is more of a factor...

The energy must come from the base then. I know it's fairly high on the helm I made. The segments were of the "exceptional" variety. I think the base on them was in the 30-40% range. Making it around 60% energy. That ain't bad for a helm with 120 mind HAM. Considering they were really good segs, I'll concur that Chitin isn't normally good for faction stuff.
I'm not arguing that there's a post at the top that indicates enhancers. I've seen it as well. I'm saying it's wrong. There are many references indicating the same thing by others. Kinda hard to prove that something doesn't exist, so I'll just stick with...I haven't seen or heard of anyone that's seen or used one. Obviously, this isn't very conclusive.
So....you win. Let us know if you find one...and how the armor turns out.

Ok, I bought those Reinforced Kliknik Shell on the bazaar.
I'm not Armorsmith, only Master artisan, but they cannot be added to enhancer slot of bone segment.
And the description say that they look like good chitin segment.
So, my bet is : they are not enhancers, but segment.
Now I have to find some Armorsmith to make me some bad ass chitin
