The peko peko feathers should DEFINATLEY drop as multiple feathers, RIS Layers are garbage as it is.

Kinda iffy about the Woolamander Bone and Gurk Hide dropping as multiples, at least it will kill the market for those people that camp the temple.

But, the GDK scale shouldn't drop in multiples.

The higher drop rates isn't whats going to make this Armor very common, its all the Armorsmiths that tell everyone to just bring the loot drops to them and they'll make the armor for free. So you have everyone camping everything hoping to get the pieces.

you guys are griping that they may "up" the drop rate for GDK scale?

the previous drop rate was completley too low,either that ori had horrible loot luck. the drop rate was g a y to say the least.

as far as the other components,it would be ok ifthe drop rate stayed the same.. my only gripe is the completley borked drop rate of gdk scale.

Wow, way to **edit** RIS up devs, just when I was starting to enjoy it. Now RIS will be like jedi... supposed to be rare, but not so much. Maybe I'll start bitching about Mando being too hard to get now so I can get 10 suits of that.

Can anyone confrim that this is GDK scales as well as the lesser parts?

TH once said that RIS would be worth it in the revamp, mabye this is what he meant, or maybe this is how they meant it to be from the beginning, they justdid know it wasntworking

I'm pretty sure this is a bug that is probably tied to their attempts to fix the unserialed drops. All of my existing RIS parts suddenly have serials.

If this change in the drops stays, its not quite as big of deal as you might think. Assuming that the drops have an equal chance of being a set of between 1 to 11 scales, and also assuming that the drop rate on individiaul GDKs is still the same, than this change for the time being will result in RIS being 6 times as more common as it is now. I don't know about other servers, but on Starsider a single GDK scale often goes for 5-6mil. That means that even after this change a single piece of RIS armor is still going to cost over 1mil credits, which puts it out of range of a heck of a lot of players. (I know someone is going to respond and say that 1mil is easy to make, however if you look at the surveys of other players, for some reason it turns out that only a small handfull of players end up becoming the super rich, where as most players never manage to have more than a couple hundred thousand in their bank account at one time.)

Also, the other big thing to keep in mind is that after the combat rebalance, its most likely going to require a group to take down a GDK. I agree that RIS armor needs to be rare, but single GDK scale drops are a little extreme, and unless this multi-component drop change stays, I think things would be rediculously out of control after the combat rebalance. Either way, I know I'm going to be hunting GDKs all day tommorow, just in case this is a temporary fluke.
