Thread: How best to layer the new Wookie Hunting Armor?

I am a newbie as a master armorsmith. I have been experimenting with the new wookie armor, and I have trouble getting the Base % 's high. Before experimentation the final armorpiece starts at 50%Kinetic and 34%base, after experimentation I can get 72%Kinetic and 48%Base.Isee people that are making the base in the 60% range.My kinetic layers are 4%base and 6%Kinetic. With that I get the hunter armor segments at 19%base and 25%Kinetic. Does this piece affect they way the base %'s come out on the final piece? Or is it the materials used in the final assembly?Do the same standards apply to all armor?

Hi all
My artisans are not high enough lvl too get schematic yet
But my wookie is tough enough too go get the resources needed
could someone please list all the required resources for both sets of the new wookie armour

I completly disagree with the answers in this post. If you only want kinetic then go Black Mountain; the hunting is more like comp, so do you put electric layers in composite: NO. I do agree that with bad shift or medium shift of ressources like on Starsider now you need to put One kinetic layer in to reach 80 but its somewhat temporary.
Here is my layering proposal (besides PvP which is triple STUN I guess for everyone)
Hunting: One kinetic 14 base 3 layer; one energy 14 base 3 layer and one energy 10 base 4 layer.
With that I reach 80 kinetic and 80 energy which allows to do Corvette, DWB NPC bases and such.
BM : 2 layers of kinetic 14 rest in low HAM.
As soon as ressources get better I will swap kinetic 14 base 3s to kinetic 10 base 4 in hunting.

Only making the Hunting atm due to demand, I am currently after some more Lokian Leathery and any Tatooine Wooly (looking for combined OQ and SR of 1400+) on Chimaera to get as many Wooks armoured up as possible.
Current Stats 80% Kinetic, 57% Base and 6% Stun, I too maxed out on Kinetic and base, nothing much for HAM reduction as only 4 pieces and most Wookiees can wear mine unbuffed. Poor quality wood on Dath and Yavin do not help, plus storming through Armour Padding.

No kidding on the armor padding...
I have gone through a full factory run of 1000 pads in the last two days.... and a crit fail on the any part espcially the chest hurts a lot on the armor padding...
I Need to get some people on some endorian wooly for me its like 1400 in th SR+OQ as I need it for more armor padding.... Still need to find a secondary hide for more of them... because the small run of the one I just got now wont last me...
