WHY OH WHY OH WHY DO THE DEVS HATE WOOKIES??????
I am so sad about this, DEVS PLEASE READ THIS!!!! Why did I have to get SO excited about getting some good armor for my hairy butt, only to find out it contains a resource I Haven't even heard of or seen before? I SERIOUSLY hope that the resource requirments for this armor is changed? WHY gimp wookies like this? Does Ubese armor require some ridiculous compoennet, does COMP????
PLEASE change this, this will make me cry and TOTALY ruin my fun in this game, it hurts me just to see how little thought the devs put into this armor, I am very upset.

The devs hate us..that much is known. I'm tempted to delete my character, and remake as a human just to get by this issue. i'm sick of the fact that as a human, armor is not an issue, yet with my wookie armor is a issue all the time.

We'll see though, if this goes live in the current form I'm tempted to delete my wookie and relearn everything.

Count me in! Oh sure, I might make a couple sets (and one for myself of course) of the Hunting armor. Im going to be pressed to come up with the resources, but someday I plan on having it be one of my regular sets of armor. Im boycotting Black Mountain armor tho. Hell as it is, I just started stocking Kashyyykian Ceremonial (hey, Ive been busy!)

Just as a little pointer, it might be better to express your feedback in the TC thread about the new wookie armor.

But keep it to constructive feedback

Well thats a bit better... but in all fairness... unless I get substantial donations on some of the key resouces.. I am just also not going to make it...

Its just too much to keep up with and I for one dont want to be religated down to making only ceremonial all the time...

and I am a wookiee and I feel like I may as well just reroll after a year of hanging on and just get make me a bunch of compositea head of time and just build a toon who does nothing but have fun... as I hate working for SWG and not getting payed to do it...

I am sorry to my wookiee friends and customers out there but unless they support me dont come to me asking for the armors... as I wont have them..

Character Name: Chalvooka WOOKIEE FROM DAY ONE!! still a wookiee even after a small break from SWG!!! A Wookiee from before wookiee armors and ROTW or RTOS!!!!

I am dissapointed in the lack of foresight from the Devs on issues like this. Hopefully they will listen to the community and drop the horn requirement

it just shows me that the dev don't play the game. horns have always been a rare looted resources with no use. you would think the play who dev the game would know that. kind of embrassing if you ask me

Tested and verified—at least as of yesterday, horn was not harvestable, nor lootable from "logical" creatures on Dantooine. That said, this is TestCenter. Half-finished publishes are the norm…it's possible that the horn acquisition code simply isn't in yet. I don't believe that…but it's possible.

I think the content creation devs are basing everything off some ancient resource and skill mod lists that haven't been updated since beta.

"HEY THIS ARMOR'S GOT HUGE HORNS ON IT AND THERE'S THIS HORN RESOURCE IN MY LIST, IT'D BE CLEVER TO MAKE IT REQUIRE THAT"

"HEY WE'VE GOT GRENADE EXPERIMENTATION/ASSEMBLY SKILLS, LET'S MAKE AN ITEM WITH THOSE"

I wanna know how people were supposed to harvest horn. Obviously they thought it was possible, I just want to know what type of smack gave them that idea.

Please note that the Horn requirements on the Hunting chest piece has been changed to 40 units of Animal Bones. Also, the Correllian Wooly Hide component of the Black Mountain armor has been changed to Nabooian Wooly Hide.

Well, that's a small step in the right direction, but really what's the reason for so many oragnic components, and named organic components at that?

It's hard enough trying to find a decent spawn of say, leathery hide, without the added frustration of waiting weeks or months for a decent spawn of a particular type of leathery hide.
