I know this has been said before, but here is my issue:
Vehicles definitely need some treatment. SWG suggests that a vehicle is made only of 2 different types of metal. This is ridiculous! There are many other less complex craftable items in the game that require up to 5 or 6 different types of resources. I would have thought that a vehicle is the most complex item an Artisan can create.I would have thought that a lot more chemicals would be involved. And I have always wanted to see 40 units of Hide as a resource required for the seat of the vehicle
Sub-modules such as thrusters could be added, as well as different experimentation lines that effect speed, hitpoints, decay rate, terrain negotiation, etc.
And for god's sake, let us see the quality of the vehicle on the deeds! Every other craftable item in the game has this feature!!!
The AV-21 was a nice addition, I would like to see more quest based additions like this, of varying difficulties. And throwing in new vehicles purely as additional content wouldn't go astray either.
Thanks Tiggs.

I would KILL for a crafting apron. i am +10 right now with a +6 on the way...
i mean, TAILORS got a crafting apron!! as of now theres only one thing they can experiment on, and that came 2 publishes after the apron was introduced...
so instead of seeing tons of new content, i would love to see old stupid crap fixed - like the aprons and CA/AA's (i have a +8 armor exp/ +11 ranged healing /cry).

More chasis for vehicles, possibly craftable engines and accessories? Even with custom kits all the vehicles look bland, one reason people go for AV-21, they are fairly rare but a ton of people now have them. If we could make our own paint graphics, engines, and accessories alot of people would be happy. Customization on everythingwould make crafting alot more fun, but vehicles espeicially.
Korlan: CDEF weapons serve a huge purpose! What are you thinking! Hehe, Artisan is meant for you to be able to make all the basics of each of the elite crafting profs. A Master Artisan can make a CDEF just as well as a weaponsmith, a Bone Armor Suit just as well as a AS, etc. Surveying is probably our best skill.
Tiggs, I love the Dino graphic, against SOE policy though?

There are many armors i can make... but only composite and ubese get bought regularly. I think every armor should be usefull in special situations... of course composite can be the overall "best" armor, but the others need ANY reason to be worn.
In my opinion faction armor needs to be craftable, the shematic of it could be bought from the recruiter or so (of course much lower fp price!!). Faction armor should be the best possible pvp armor avalible.

Korlan, I must agree on you with the component part, Krayt CDEF would be great.
What is up with this mountain miner thing? There are no skills required for placing miners, and if anyone the arcitect who built the deed for the miner should get special privileges on placing. Its not about skill, its about the limits of the structure, having a miner nearly vertical on some of the plateaus on Tatooine would be a little odd looking. Unless you want it to be like a campsite, inwhich when you place a camp, bam all the earth around you instantly becomes flat. Mining is supposed to be tough to find a good spot and a place to put the miner, sometimes you have to find multiple spots to find out which one is best.

I like this "bug" to be honest, armor takes too much work to make to be stuck with 1 color, I wish the ubese I make was colorable after crafting as well.
As things stand now I produce black ubese, and black ubese only because like 2/3rds of the people who want ubese, want black. So I'm not going to make extra factory runs of all the different colors for the other people who want white, or pink, or blue, or green, or whatever. So those people who arn't a bunch of goth/neo/followers are sol cause they're stuck with black along with the rubes who insist on wearing it.
If composite wasn't colorable then we'd be back in the situation where all suits look the same. Sorry but I like the color variety we see now.
If padded was colorable after crafting we might actually see some being made regularly. Because padded is as much fashion as protection, the people who want it, want very specific color scheme's. Very very few armorsmiths are willing to work in padded because they can't produce factory runs of it because every padded buyer wants a different color. If players could color their padded after they buy it, then armorsmiths could factory producelarge runs of padded suits, and not be stuck handcrafting each peice to some customers specifications.
And as for armor customization kits... why? They wouldn't be worth any real money, and I don't want to have to stock something that doesn't make me any money.

You missed the 'Armor Coloring Kits' mention. Armor shouldn't be just colorable by anyone. Perhaps a tailor skill, or perhaps a novice artisan item so that a novice can make a few credits now and then selling kits.
I'd like to see ALL armor colorable using color kits. I'd also like to see the master specs of all armors evened out more. Sure comp supposed to be best, but that didn't work, did it? All you see is wave after wave of clones. I thought the clone wars were OVER?!?

Hiya, Tiggs.
1. More vehicle types! This game is getting wicked boring with 17 million Swoops in default colors sitting around. This game's gone well past the point of needing a little update for the vehicle system. Models, experimenting, lots of stuff to work on, still.
2. Multi-passenger vehicles - the passenger seat in my X34 looks so comfortable, yet it always remains empty
3. More options to experiment with on vehicles - speed, handling, durability, etc. Something aside from *just* durability.
4. Let vehicle deeds actually be the shape of the vehicle it's adeed for, like how dropped droid deeds are actually the droid. I want my vehicle showroom! I want different-colored Swoops lined up in my shop, ready for sale at low low prices!
5. Allow for vehicle customization upon creation of vehicles, just like droids get a free initial customization.
6. Let Artisans repair Disabled vehicles. Artisans only. This would be very handy for everyone in this game. If we can build em, why couldn't we gut them and REBUILD them? Explain that to me...because I don't understand the current logic with unrepairable vehicles.
Thanks for your time.

And you missed the last part of my post
. I wonder how much artisans make off vehicle customization kits, or DE's of colorizing droids. Betcha it's such a small amount that most don't bother.
Armor colorization kits would be the same, which means that instead of being a revenue source for artisans, or tailors, or whoever you envision having em, they'd just be a hassle and a time waster for everyone else.
Maby if they made the color kits actually difficult to make, with named resources required, and stats that matter, then they might be a money maker for whoever crafts them. But then they'd just be an expensive hassle for the players. And can you see SOE doing that? putting the time and effort required to do a good job of it?
Hmm, quick and easy, or quality. Which do you associate with SOE?
