I went out today to get some naboo bristly hide. Well it came to fact its OQ is about 100 and Shock resist is about 400....
This is crap!
I can barley make 5k advance cores!
Can't there be a more verstial hide that can be used without waiting for the "perfect" hide season?
It's just annoying and it hurts business.

Its because blixtev thinks he knows more than us. I think his exact words, was this was done so that rangers would still have a viability within the game. There is only one problem with this, rangers now know they have us by the b@11s and are charging us through the nose for the high end hides. Ive paid out almost 60 million in the last 2 weeks on resources just to get an ample supply for armors, and now my customers are upset because of the prices im charging for armors. Go figure.

If its viable for you, you can always turn your alt into a ranger. This cuts my prices down astronomically, as I am selling unlayered armor for only 350k.

Problem is, who has time to hunt, make armor, work on a jedi, do stuff in real life?

I couldn't be happier that it requires one type of hide! My armor is substantially better because I have large funds to begin with. Rich get richer, poor get poorer. There is no secret to making good armor, get credits, buy deeds, BINGO! If you dont have any money, maybe being a crafter isn't the right prof for you.

Yeah, the Naboo bristley hurts especially since you can't get above level 50 missions on the planet. As luck would have it, we just got a spawn of around 1880 (OQ and SR), so I'm stocking up with my alt and guildmates. 450k and counting. I used 30k deeds before that and had gone through 45k in 3-4 weeks handcrafting.

You can get level 78-81 tusk cat missions out of Moenia. Been there, done that.

Interesting, I wasn't able to get those out of my town's terminal. ALthought now that you mention it, I saw some folks hitting some 70 level tusks cats and I didn't put two and two together. DO you have to have a certain number of CL people in your group? I had 1 level 80 and one level 58.

Yeah the problems with getting a 50 cl cap from player towns is a known issue that's talked about over in the politician forum, their corr is currently working on trying to get it resolved.
As far as the ranger part goes on charging a lot on your server just keep your eyes open for some new scouts or ask around for some scouts/rangers, not everyone will have heard about the price soandso is paying and you should be able to slip in with a lower price and buy some still.

I don't have this problem on Flurry, I just go afk all day at the MO on Dantooine, spam that I'm paying x ammount for certian hides, ususllay 3 to 5 cpu for hifde, even good stuff.
Yes your "Professional Rangers" will charge you more, but you don't have to hire them, even at novice scout and CL 60, I was pulling over 400 units of hide off LvL 80 mobs when i was in a hunting group. Alot of Grinders are looking for any way to make that extra cash and to them this is a gold mine.
