Thread: Frustration
Point 1: Graul Mauler babies are extinct.
I will never understand why the developers trash things that can just be fixed. Most complaints regarding these animals were that they are too large. ok well instead of killing them off, how about we make them SMALLER...one thing I must be missing is why this was not mentioned in the patch notes: is this not a monumental change enough to be worth mentioning??
Point 2: Armor and Resists have been slaughtered.
This is totally unacceptable. Apparently this has affected everything related to armor and resistance; i.e. player armor and pet resists. And I demand to know what is going on regarding this from the devs. Is it a bug?
Point 3: Although this is only somewhat related to the new patch, I am getting sick of the limited options Creature Handlers have of combat pets. People complain about seeing too many of one pet around; Look, people, we don't have much choice. It's as simple as that.
Point 4: Mission level scaling when with pets (there is none).
This issue has been known for too long for us not to have even heard a RESPONSE (unless I missed it?). And now that we've lost the high end missions of endor, what now?
Honestly I wish the developers would quit "fixing" things that are not broken in the first place. The lack of input over these high profile issues is unacceptable.
I can understand if the game is buggy after a new large patch, but the lack of information (let alone patch notes) regarding these issues (i'm sure these are such a small minority of the new issues) is completely inexcusable. I almost with the servers were still down...
ok i take that back regarding the high payment missions - apparently they are on dantooine and such planets...just not endor...
I suppose the pay is a little too high for these missions, but I believe no less than 10,000 credits per mission would be acceptable and a good compromise.
Some of these issues have been acknowledged at least.
If you go check the "Announcements" board they have a post listing all the issues they looking into.
1. Not mentioned at all...Not a big deal for me as long as it is replaces with something as good or better. ![]()
2. Working on a fix.
3. Indirectly working on with BE fixes and that's about it...Blah, I too want more verity in pet options.
4. Not even recognized...This is a BIG one for me and allot of other people as well I'm sure.
Yeah I just managed to hobble over there and take a look
I wouldn't be angry over the absence of the maulers now (can't be too hard to find one to purchase...) except that there's nothing to replace it. The new patch related to Bio Engineers and adding tons more animals may not be seen until NOVEMBER...even though it was promised for the patch yesterday (issues like that caused me to drop the BE profession altogether). Our options for higher level fighting are becoming increasingly smaller and without good reason. I hate to mention other professions being too powerful but I watched a commando pull of a 16k HAM damage shot the other night...I don't understand why people keep complaining about us being to powerful.
I'm not saying ANY class should be nerfed, I hate seeing ANYTHING nerfed be it a chef or a bounty hunter. I just wish they'd level the combat classes a bit more...16000 damage is a little tooextreme for me to hold back and not say anything...
I agree.
Wow...had no idea it was going to take that long for them to fix BE's. I came close to trying them early on and am glad I didn't...I would be bald with frustration by now ![]()
Yes...I find it funny now that the Dev's let this continue as well. My BH friend does INSANE damage with his LLC. Yet when the T21 first hit wide use it got nerfed right away because it was viewed as being too powerful. ![]()
Yea its tuff to wear a full suit of Adv comp when a zabrak.
Took me 4 suits roughly to get it all HAM sliced came out with about 333 300 380 .
so its not impossible just expensive unless an armorer.

A zabrak is limited to 400/400/900 or something on their secondary stats (I know one of the action and health secondaries are limited to 400 each) but this should be more than enough to wear a suit of composite after its sliced.
The trick is to a) not buy layered suits, just go for the lowered armour pieces which will have a lot lower encumbrance and b) get them sliced for encumbrance - you may need a few goes with that to get the entire suit going though.
Additonally, you can sacrifice the boots, gloves and maybe 2 of the arm pieces and not notice much of a drop in protection (you may get 25% of the hits to these locations combined, and about 5-10% if you just remove the boots and gloves) and will save a fair bit of encumbrance (up to 200 points or so)
