So you've all seen the question I came up with for this week- I pulled it from the list of 10 Questions I threw at Thunderheart about three months ago. Unfortunately, there's not much left on the list- five of the ten questions were bug status reports and those bugs have either been fixed or will be fixed next publish. So, the question I have for all of you is, what question should I submit to TH the next time our turn rolls around in about a week and a half?

Hmmm you could ask about mandalorian I'm sure plenty want to know about that.

personally, I'd like to know if the experimentation on composite is as intended, or if it (or when) it will be fixed.

When do we get some skill mod clothing schematic love that even Commando (who doesn't have grenade crafting anymore) got? At least these schematics are a little more accessible than the looted attachments that are a pain to get and cost a fortune on the trade boards.

Second, when does the low-level armor actually becomes useful except right after a fresh server is brought up. Even Ubese is beginning to lose its charm.. getting tired of making the same ole Composite and Kashyyykian Ceremonial in order to be able to sell anything.

Keep up the good work!

I'd second the "Crafting Apron" question.

Or armor certifications.

Well - how about a more general question on game mechanics ?

How the heck does repairing actually work ?

is it just based on the state of the item to ber repaired and random chance ?

does the quality of the tool have any effect (almost certainly)

does the skill of the repairer have any effect (probably not)

ok - so this is not an armoursmith specific question, but it is something we could do with an answer to.

Or what about -

how does the quality of a crafting tool and a crafting station affect the construction and experimentation of an item ?

I tried asking the helpline and all I got was this :

Thank you for contacting Star Wars Galaxies In-Game Support.

Unfortunately we can not discuss game mechanics. The best thing to do

would be to ask your fellow players or review the Player Guides at:

http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=New%20Player%20Guide.

Asking these question to your profession correspondent would also be

recommended.

Well - forgive me if I have missed this information, but all I could see were a lot of questions on the forums, a few quesses, and no real information .....

1) When are we going to be able to produce factional armour that will be a viable alternative to Composite? Everyone wears the exact same armour for PvP and high-end PvE, this makes the game look very samey, there need to be viable alternatives that will allow for more variance in what people are wearing.

2) When are we going to get more racial armour for races other than Wookies? Whilst Wookie's needed armour to compete in combat with other races, this additional content has left non-wookie's feeling a little left out, it would be nice to see at least one suit of racial armour for each race in order to provide more variety.

3) What are the developers going to do to combat the problem with high-encumberance/high-resist armours and buffs? 90% base armour has become much more common in PvP these days and it is making certain combat professions much less effective than they should be, the main reason this armour is so widely used is that buffing/fooding makes it possible to wear any armour, even stuff with 1000+ HAM.

4) What are the developers going to do to aid starter Armoursmith's abilities to produce saleable armour items? Currently, all Master Armoursmith produce is vastly superior to anything that a non-Master can produce, even simple armours like Mabari, Bone and Chitin.

5) When you introduce Mandalorian, are you going to be faithful to the movies and EU with its implementation? It needs to be extremely rare and hard to get, also should provide defences as good as composite as it is a light armour designed as a comprimise between defence and manueverability. It also shouldnt be limited to any single class.

I want to ask about plans to balance out the other armor types against composite. When will other armor types be viable to craft like composite is? Seems like the only boxes worth having are the layer, experimentation, and master boxes.

The lack of variety in viable armour is the biggest problem imo, ok comp makes you money but making the same stuff especially once you have a tried and trusted recipe is just plain boring. I do like the idea of race armour, I don't care too much about reists but new looks would be nice and some more customisation options would be good.

Its about time armour repair got looked into a bit to make it a bit less 'risky'

I know many armoursmiths will hate the lost business if repair was more likely to succeed, but anything would be better than the 2-3% success rate there seems to be today (Ok so im pulling figures from thin air, but the success rate seems to be less than 10% with less than 2% 'great success' result)
