Please tell me we're not goingto have to grind out these new quests and then some Jedi xp just to stay competitive in a crafting profession. I have no problem with Force experimentation if it's nothing more thana bonus to experiment rolls, similar to research center or Bespin port bonuses, but I have a horrible feeling that +20 to "Force Experimentation" means an extra two experimentation points.

you start to catch a glimpse of the dumbest idea ever. yes Virgina, if you wish to be competative crafter or pvp player post patch, you will need to grind retarded quests simply to pick up a couple extra skill points.

If it'll stack with skill tapes, it looks like I need to stockpile grinding supplies. If not, BOY am I ever glad I spent the cash on the tapes!!!!!! Hmnn, imagine what 14 experimentation points plus amazing combines can give you..... ( can you imagine what 17 experimentation points items will look like?)

What prevents us from currently moving beyond 12 experimentation points? The +25 limit to skill enhancements. Seems to me that if "Force Experimentation" is going to add experimentation points that they won't affect that +25 to "Armor Experimentation".

This had better not be the dawn of the 14-point armorsmith. SOE can make the Jedi hopefuls jump through all the hoops they want them to, but if this is in fact what I think it is it means that we'll need to stop what we're doing and go through some innane quests (this is SOE after all, author of EQ's Epic Quests and SWG's RIS armor "epic quest") just to maintain our status as top-tier armorsmiths.

BTW, it looks as if FSCS unlocks will be stopped from Publish 9 to Publish 10. That means that if in fact these FS crafting bonuses add experimentation points, you won't be able to do anything about it for roughly six weeks after Publish 9 goes live.

Mother **edit**er!!!

Click on that link above. Hover over one of the "Force Experimentation +5" mods and read the description that pops up. "This skill mod directly affects how many experimentation points you recieve when crafting any object".

If this goes live, I won't be an armorsmith after Publish 10.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with lightsaber/robe crafting, rather than the other crafting professions.

I guess SOE doesn't want people to specialize in just crafting. My alt is a master artistan, master weaponsmith, and finally just made master armorsmith. Am I now going to have to drop something in order to learn Jedi-artistan type skills. This worries me as much as the thought of 12+ armorsmiths. Being new to armorsmith I'm not very competative yet. Will have to start doing some research I guess and make some hard decisions.

Looking at the other skill trees there is also a + to survey and Luck???? tree. Wonder if luck will play in getting more amazing success or what not.

Other wonder - for those of us that didn't want to be a Jedi and hologrind. Are we going to have to master various other professions, etc. in order to unlock this "force sensative" crafting?

Doubt it...

I suspect the 4 force sensitive trees are those for people who unlock, but don't want to become a jedi, they give small bonuses to a variety of things, including one for crafting.

If the experimentation force skill increases the 125 cap, enablig 14-15 point smiths= bad

If it offers an alternative method to gain up to 125 instead of paying 50M for tapes = good

Im REALLY hoping for the last one, even though Ive allready shelled out for my tapes.

If this will force crafters to grind jedi missions just to stay competitive, I'm thinking many people will just leave the game.

The Kitten's Diary, Day 781: I have discovered a most delightful way of making life miserable for my captors. Yesterday, I ate the woman's precious begonia, and today I have dismembered the amaryllis in the bedroom window. She is furious over the loss of her darling house plants! I find it highly gratifying.
