How do I make an Armor Segment Enhancement? Is it loot?

When you make an armor segment ... there's a box where it says:
"Armor Segment Enhancement (Optional)"

What's that?

Also, another thing, BE tissues *does not* work on armors right? Just want to make sure.

Cos I have this Armor attachment that adds to bleed defense. But don't know how to use it.

Armor segment enhancements are "installed" when the segment is made and then put into the armor. It only works for armor pieced that use one single segement (like comp gloves).

Your smith must make this for you.

ummm, armor segment enhancements are things like Krayt Tissue... if you throw enough pieces into a factory you can make whatever you want out of em...

So, ok, to use armor segment enhancement, you PUT that enhancement when you are making say, example: Composite Armor Segment, into the OPTIONAL component?

Cos I have a armor segment enhancement, I tried making armor segments, the enhancement does not appear selected.

I see, only krayt scales and such work.

So what does does armor segment enhancement used for? How are they used?

I think armor segment enhancement IS NOT EQUAL to eg: Krayt segment. It does not fit in final armor making.

So this armor segment enhancement that adds like bleed defense - how do you add them in armor?

If you're talking about constricter cloth, then you put that in synthetic cloth or reinforced fiber panels. Then those go into the armor

you want things like kryat scales, janta hide, and whatever to put in there not segments

I have tested this and i did not get the +1 to bleed protection.

Sigh.. I hate having to post messages like this; it clutters the board, and make me look like the newbie I am.

I really did try to find this information, honest! Guess I'm just not looking in the right places.

Anyway, I'm an SWG newbie, starting out as an armorsmith. I've noticed that Armor Segment Enhancements really increase the usefullness of bone armor segments. The problem is, I've only been able to find one of these morsels on the Bazaar one time. I just can't seem to figure out who has the ability to make armor segment enhancements, or where they can be purchased from on a regular basis.

Help?

well, I don't know exactly who, if anyone can make them, maybe armorsmiths can....I always finds lots of them on the bazaar at achorhead on tattooine.....but that's on Ahazi server....anyway, whenever i'm near a city or in one, I check the bazaar for items like this and clothing enhancements. Sometimes you can catch people selling these things for cheap, not knowing there real value.......People just don't understand that the bazaar maxes instant sells and auctions at 3000, no matter what the value of the item....that's why I search for this stuff like this.....I just love it when I find clothing segments with anything more than +3 on the bazaar......I'm no BE, Armorsmith or Tailorbut I know the value of such things, so I buy them....
