Thread: Ubese Armor.. why is it not a BH armor???

Ubese armor, made famous by Boushh the BH who was killed. Leia wore his costume in Jabbas palace.


Now i wonder why it would then not be BH certified armor??? They should have made it an assault armor.. because for assault armor, the only armor a human can wear is either Chitin or factional.. craaazy..


Its not a problem for me since i'm also a rifleman, so i can wear ubese, but still.. wouldn't ubese be more clearly associated with the BH trade????

BH cant have everything.


the aim is for diversity, a BH's choices will be refelcted in his capabilities and his armour.


by choosing a support/tank role u open up the even battle armour but by going offensive you get new recon ranges

and if u were a pre-cu guy u would know that from all the composite clones u can wear it. just no1 wants 2make it anymore

I know that BH can't have everything, i just thought that maybe the developers should have made ubese a bh armor since its based on one.. and one of the others should have been reconaissance.

BH use all kinds of armor, that shapeshifter girl that was after padme in ep2 used mabari

Ubese are an aggressivenomadic species known for their gunfighting skills, whose solar system was destroyed by the Old Republic. They are not, in spite of Boussh, all bounty hunters. It makes sense the armor of a nomadic species would be classified as recon.

I personally think armor certs should include the lower branches. Battle lets you wear battle or recon, Assault lets you wear any of 'em.

Huh? Recon is not a "lower branch" to battle, battle and recon are not lower branches to assault.

I don't agree with the assumption this discussion is based on (that BHs should be certed for Ubese armor because one BH wore it) but I do kind of wonder why BHs were given assult instead of recon armor, too. When you consider that most of their marks use energy weapons, it seems odd that a BH would wear armor weak against energy attacks.


Also, if you consider the movies, I would say BHs usually tended to wear recon armor. Of all the armors available in this game, BHs were seen wearing two of the three available recon suits and the rest (with the exception of the Fetts) wore none at all.
